Because I haven't seen any official fun "holidays" to celebreate in Goodland, here are some that Tony and I thought people might enjoy for September! And if not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay they're kind of a play on some of the fun and silly ones in my world, but, sometimes, fun and silly can be good. Especially when

Fun Days for September

Sep 1 Love People Day
This is basically a day to show love and appreciation to people in a "be kind" way. The romantic love stuff can be saved for Valentine's Day, though I won't tell you how to celebrate the day! Mostly, it's just a day to show your unconditional love and appreciation to people. Say something nice. Do something nice. Sometimes people are feeling down, and a smile and a kind word can go a long way. That's what this day is about.

Sep 3 Double Cheeseburger Day
Self explanatory? Go eat double cheeseburgers and appreciate them!

Sep 5 Hobbit Day
If you don't know what a Hobbit is, we can't be friends. Okay in my world tis is actually on September 22, but I think Hobbits should be appreciated any day, though September 22 is Bilbo and Frodo's birthday.

Sep 7 One-Hit Wonder Day
Listen to all those great one hit wonders out there! Yeah, sometimes it sucks because only that one song was really good, but then again, that one song was really good! So enjoy them all or enjoy your favorite on repeat. :D

Sep 9 Ghost Hunting Day
Does this really need explaining?

Sep 11 Math Storytelling Day
This is not a case of "tell a math story/joke," but it could be. It's more a way to share positive things about math. Lots of people don't like math, but this is a day to stop and think, "What are some positive ways math has worked in my life?" Maybe it was just that one teacher who helped you understand how to calculate the slope of a line (you have to RISE before you can RUN) or how to remember the quadtradic formula (hint: use the tune YMCA).

Sep 13 Cheese Pizza Day
Like the cheeseburger day, but with cheese pizza instead.

Sep 15 Talk Like a Pirate Day
Will the pirate be offended? ARRR!

Sep 17 Comic Book Day
Go read a comic book! Just not mine, please? Or manga! Or graphic novel! Whatever you want to call it, go check one out. Especially if you've never read one before. Seriously, you're missing out on some fun. The library has a TON, and if you don't like it, you tried something new!

Sep 19 World Physical Therapy Day
Lots of people undergo physical therapy, and this is a day to acknowledge those going through therapy and the therapists who help out those going through that process. It's a day to raise awareness for those people whose jobs it is to help those going through physical therapy.

Sep 21 Read A Book Day
Like Comic Book Day, but with books!

Sep 23 Coffee Day
Like the food days but with coffee instead of food! (There's also a coffee ice cream day, which you could so combine with coffee today.)

Sep 25 Video Games Day
Like comic book and book day but with video games!

Sep 27 IT Professionals Day
Just be nice to your IT people. They have to do a lot of troubleshooting, and it's made harder when the problem isn't explained well because it's a hard to explain problem. And they get that. And they don't mean to ask you "is it plugged in?" but you'd be surprised how many times it isn't or how many times something as simple as a loose wire or flipped switch is the cause of a problem. And chances are they just had to deal with 25 other irrate people who blame them for a problem they're trying to fix. So be kind and understanding. They will, too.

Have fun and enjoy September!

Yes! Although that's a Wednesday, so it'll have to be after school for me. But we can still do it!

I'm in!

If we get Overwatch of Fortnight going we can get a LOT of people involved too.

Sweet!

We could try for Fortnite since the battle royale is free! On PC. I don't want to get the internet pass on consoles lol

That's a great idea!

I might need to play a couple rounds first just to get the hang of it since I've never played it. I've played PUBG, though, and I hear it's a pretty shallow learning curve from that to Fortnite.

I've not played any kind of battle royale game, and I've not played PUBG (I know what it s at least?), so I'm a total noob. Carry me, Audrey! Carry me to victory!

So what you're saying is we both need to practice so we don't embarrass our teammates?
