The artist gives a distinct look to Severus and Remus that fits their characters well. The backstory that the panels reveal is so easy to see, the pacing during their conversation, their body language…I loved it all. This is how Harry Potter could have been saved from the Dursleys.
I encourage everyone to go and enjoy before the reveals.

Why everyone should read this: I love the television show “Castle” and to find a Lupin/Snape crossover fic was like getting another Christmas present, even if this one wasn’t just for me.
It’s fun to see Severus’ formidable intellect as the mystery author searching for inspiration. It’s even better to see Remus getting his grey hairs not just because of his ‘hairy problem’. When they get together, there are sparks!
Points to entice the reader:
• Snape never went to Hogwarts.
• Severus opens his home to Slytherin children needed a safe haven, showing his “softer” side. The “emotional” blackmail he’s forced to endure is priceless!
• Minor canon characters get a bit of a polish and are fleshed out. You’ll enjoy who gets the ‘star treatment’.
• There’s a bit of history between Detective Lupin and Mr. Snape…*duh-duh-dun*
• It’s a real crossover, meaning the magic is still there, but in a different setting.
There’s more, but I don’t want to give away the plotline.
It’s a great read for a Saturday afternoon, with the snow falling and the dog snoozing at your feet.
