This was posted on lupin_snape but it's completely innocent and G-rated, so I highly recommend it even if slash isn't your thing. After all, how often do you get to see Snape in sunglasses and a straw hat sitting under a beach umbrella?

Summary: Deathly Hallows spoilers ensue. This story is being written as a response to JKR's comment in an interview where she said if Snape could choose to live his life over, he would choose Lily over the Death Eaters. So, that said, this is obviously AU.

When Snape relives his life, he retains memories from his previous life. At 50 chapters and 90,000 words, this fic isn't even close to being done. If you like SS/LE, I hope you give it a try.

He did try the Victorian swimming trunk bit, believe me. But in the wizarding world, he constantly ran into old acquaintances who turn out to be just as 'dead' as he is. He wasn't very excited about that, so he moved and decided to go Muggle.
