Thought I could share some scans of a comic series created by an independent comic author-artist named Vince Suzukawa who does wonderful work as a gay furry artist who also did the webcomic The Class Menagerie. Well, though he's published 8 issues, he posted the first three issues on public domain, and I figured I could share a few scans about the life of a furry freshman in college coming to terms with being gay in a hilarious and deep story of crazy roommates, bartenders, and finding true friends in a comic called "I.S.O." As many of you already know and are rightfully and righteously freaking out over, Amazon.com has started de-listing books with GLBT content from the Amazon rank sales charts. (Google-bombs away!) Upon hearing this, with a sinking feeling, I started surfing Amazon's selection of graphic novels, and yup, they appear to have de-listed one of my favourite shounen-ai manga, featured below the cut. Okay, I would like to apologize beforehand to the community and mods if this doesn't apply for the community - it's my first time to post here in this version of S_D. Anyway, I'd like to introduce you to how Japan can manage to mangle stereotypes, and then keep it part of their culture, resulting in WTF-ery that made me giggle like a school girl. ( And you thought Sailor Bacon was bad. Possibly NSFW. ) Interesting thing, though, is that both are by nature with masculine traits, totally jarring with the feminine overtones. It's like Danny the Street from Doom Patrol, or the Village People. edit: tried to use RT entry system, all link tags got wiped out.
