Bronze Age Wonder Woman These are from Wonder Woman: The Greatest Stories Ever Told, which I heartily recommend it to all Wondy fans. It opens with a nice long Golden Age story featuring a villain named Eviless, bizarre gadgets, outrageous outfits, and a lot more bondage than most Golden Age Wonder Woman stories. (Yes, I said "a lot more bondage than most Golden Age Wonder Woman stories".) There's also a story from the George Perez era.
These are the only scans from this book I'm posting; I'm hoping to entice y'all to buy it. ;-) They're from Wonder Woman #286, published in 1981.

Golden Age Wonder Woman These are from Sensation Comics #14, 1943. I'm not at home so I can't look it up, but I think this is one of the issues drawn by Frank Godwin.

Golden Age Wonder Woman crack These are from Wonder Woman #4, 1943. Paula von Gunther and other inmates of Reformation Island must pass various tests to prove that they have reformed and are ready to leave the island and serve Aphrodite. Marston really seemed to like these contests. And they always seemed to involve girls getting tied up - BDSM as competitive sport.

Golden Age Wonder Woman meets the Mole Men These are from Wonder Woman #4, 1943.
When I was a kid in the 70's, I bought a current issue of Wonder Woman that dealt with these same Mole Men. In fact, the story was almost the same, except without Paula von Gunther. And there's another Golden Age story I shared with y'all recently where Wonder Woman dealt with the Seal Men. In a nutshell, WW kept encountering semi-animalistic men who cruelly oppressed normal-looking human women until the Amazing Amazon showed up. Oh, if only the symbolism were less subtle!

Golden Age Wonder Woman Crack These are from Wonder Woman #4, 1943.
This issue was so whacked out that it was really difficult to choose just three pages' worth.

Golden Age Wonder Woman These are from Wonder Woman Archives Vol. 3. The story was originally published in Sensation #18 in 1943. The art is by Frank Godwin, not H.G. Peters. Apparently for a time Peters had too big a workload, so Godwin did a few issues of WW and Sensation.

Golden Age Wonder Woman These are from Sensation #19 published in 1943. The art is by Frank Godwin again, and the story is titled (in the Archives volume) "The Unbound Amazon". This is when the idea that Amazons go berserk if their bracelets are removed was introduced.

Golden Age Wonder Woman Bondage Seance Crack This is one of my favorite WW stories ever. It was in the collection I got when I was 8 and read about a hundred thousand times. It's the first appearance of Dr. Psycho, and features two of Marston's obsessions: the occult and bondage. This was originally published in Wonder Woman #5 in the summer of 1943.

Golden Age Wonder Woman Crack Today's bit of Wonder Woman insanity is from Wonder Woman #5, published in summer of 1943, and it's cracktastic even by GA WW standards.
BTW, this story was 24 pages.

Golden Age Wonder Woman newspaper strip A while back, thanks to ebay, I found some images of original H.G. Peter WW art for sale (the auctions have long since ended now). I think they're for the WW newspaper strip. Anyway, I'm sharing.

More Cheetah! Before the crack: Wondy fans may be interested in the results of the Wonder Woman Wardrobe War, which grey_bard linked me to. Some very striking WW costumes depicted. I prefer the ones that show the Grecian influence; that was the first thing that hooked me on the George Perez WW.
Also, I came across this Cracked article that pokes fun at the WW bondage. There's some Golden Age scans.
These are from Wonder Woman #6, Fall 1943. I just took the four most crack-intensive pages and scanned them.

Introducing the Cheetah! I'm going backwards through the posts on my own LJ, which is why I made the last Cheetah post first. I should've posted this, the first Cheetah story, first, but I didn't think of it. Sorry.
Wonder Woman has never developed the kind of rogues' gallery that her two big brothers have, but the Cheetah may be her most popular villain - I know she's a favorite of mine. Here is the Cheetah's first appearance, from Wonder Woman #6, 1943.
