Golden Age Wonder Woman
Today's WW scans were originally published in Sensation Comics #20, August, 1943.
I scanned the cover just because I find the way these shapely WAACs are all jumbled in amusing. Also, notice that Wonder Woman is driving while sitting on the steering wheel.
This story is about Marva Psycho, who's joined the WAACs.
Marva explains that she recognized "General Stoffer" as a Nazi spy. How she recognized him she does not explain. But she didn't tell anyone because she had no proof. I mean, it's not like the U.S. government would have investigated the accusation of being a Nazi spy on its own and found any evidence that was to be had in 1943 or anything.
Marva tries to deal with the situation on her own, but alas, the poor girl's blonde.
Apparently no one noticed Marva breaking position to pick up the gun. And why didn't she just leave the damned thing on the ground?
The unconscious man here is the real General Scott who the Nazi's been impersonating. Wonder Woman throwing an exploding ambulance is just the kind of fun high jinks I always loved about her.
