If the show in question depicts the Titans as cutesy kid versions of themselves, then why is the Nightwing action figure that results from it one of him as an adult?

It was a multi-media marketing campaign, they were also in discussion for a live action movie (Dick had been sort of hoping that Tom Cruise would play him. This was a long time ago of course..)
