Amazing Spider-Man #602

So basically, the Chameleon's back in town. Now he's sadistically dipping people into acid after taking their identities away from them. He wants to infilitrate Mayor Jonah's inner circle, so he kidnaps Peter Parker (who's working for Jonah at the moment.)

Meanwhile, Chameleon is mimicking Peter's voice while spraying him in the face with some sort of adhesive(?) that makes a mask out of the face.

Anyone else getting a feeling of déjà vu?

And then there's Paul Jenkins' Webspinners arc where Chameleon went after MJ as Pete. So this makes it, what, the third time this has happened?

	I once read an essay that made a decent case for why Gwen would be attracted to Norman or even sleep with him. But it was pretty much all fanwank that wasn't present in that hideously bungled story or its aftermath. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Let me guess, the Gwen/Norman on Spidey Kicks Butt? Yeah, that did a lot to help me buy the idea, too. Specifically by pointing out that due to close relationship with her dad, Gwen may have had a thing for mature (and sometimes older) men. That's an angle I could understand. Plus they backed it up by pointing out the Gwen clone genuinely fell in love with Miles Warren.

...but mostly I was just irritated that fanwank managed to explain that - and make it believable - much more than canon did.
