Unsure if it's still Bruce/Selina week or not
But either way I offer you 'Tec #850
Heart of Hush starts out pretty bland, a fairly general Bruce vs Enemy story. It's pretty neat, of course, thanks to gorgeous art and Dini writing, but nothing special, nothing that makes you go "oh my God I want this". The ending, however, is one of my favorites endings ever :)
Hush had used magic science to disguise himself as Bruce, and snuck up on Selina, with the bandages across his face. She gets a few strikes in, but she cut the bandages off, revealing a face that looks identical to Bruce's. She's shocked for a second, and Tommy gets the upper hand. He cuts her heart out and plans on having it slowly beat to death in front of Bruce, and then stealing all his money and killing his babies and mom. Bruce and the lads win, of course.
Zatanna had been a recurring character throughout Dini's 'Tec run. Her appearances were all great, and I highly recommend #833-834 and 843-844. It has a really natural flow, which doesn't seem like something that'd work but does fantastically seeing as how Zee's a magician and Dini's 'Tec run is very low-key, very street level. Earlier, Selina and her had been talking, and Zee acknowledged that Bruce's heart could only ever belong to Selina.
You can hear a pin drop, can't you?
"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!" Scotty said as he read this comic. "BRUCE AND SELINA 4EVA!"
I don't think I've ever seen Ivy and Harley as friends with Selina, but eh, setup for Bad Girls of Gotham I guess.
And that is why Dini is the coolest cat (hur hur hur) of them
