So I assume Bruce is lying? Or I hope so, anyway.

About killing his Dad? Nope.

Peter David actually wrote the story, a long time back. When he recovered the memory, Hulk (and it was just Hulk, no Banner) had some trouble dealing with it. But time heals all wounds, and his Dad really did need killing.

Banner has a gun that channels the Old Power?

He also has a messenger bag that opens into his lab, and a force-field generator that can give him super-strength.

Pak is really playing up the super-scientist in Bruce.

Duhaahghhh, LEADER'S HEAD.

I realize it's supposed to be huge and all, but the amount of facial detail and the HUGENESS of his forehead makes it take a nosedive into the Uncanny Valley for me.

I think that's the point. Leader has always been freaky looking.

When did he come back BTW? Last I heard he had ascended to a higher consciousness or something along those lines.

He's bluffing, and judging by some of the reactions show how convincing he was to fool the Howletts.

I like this!

And, is Daken using his third claw? Is that the one supposed to be able to kill anything or something like that? Or am I confusing stuff?

I actually like this version of Banner. Seriously, any man whose mind can come up with something like the hulk has got to be screwy one way or another.

Never thought I would see myself write these words in this order, but damn that is a damn pretty picture of the Leader.

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na Leader!

on both counts. I've always liked this version of the Leader's head. I hope this means his little pink sythezoids are nearby.

over in Son of Hulk, they're trying to establish it as a knock-off of the Power Cosmic.

Chessmaster-type Banner really works for me. I hope after all this we get to see a similar Banner touring the Marvel U and using the Hulk as a tool.

I actually buy the idea, that Banner without the Hulk could be a very creepy character. I mean, what was his job before. Building better nukes. Find better ways to kill millions of people. Pre-Hulk he never seemed a have a morally problem with it.

Well, in the Peter David story on wich he killed his father, it was shown that the Gamma Bomb he was working was meant to destroy inorganic objects, like weapons and vehicles, instead of organic stuff, like people. He was moral in that regard, at least.
But I still dig this, it's really awesome.

[info]statham1986

Nope. There's two Hulk books now, and Loeb gets to peddle his shit in the pages of 'Hulk' whilst Pak gets to have Incredible Hulk. The unfortunate thing is that Loeb seems to be dragging the other book down with him during this bullshit thing they've got coming up called 'Fall of the Hulks' or whatever.
