So you're willingly subjecting yourself to her whims then. Putting yourself in harms way? You know how many teams hate her guts and here you are carrying a piece of her in you. Talking to her.

Who knows if she's done anything else to you.

[steps back, letting go of her wrist but then he extends his right hand and... slaps your cheek. Not hard, but firm enough to certainly surprise someone. And maybe leave a bit of a sting afterwards]

She hasn't. Not once in all the days we've been together. She hasn't hurt me, she hasn't even tried to hurt other people through me.

She was the last thing with me, when everything went dark. And the first one there when I woke up. All the times I've been most alone . . . all she's ever done is be there.
