Game 129
Who: Everyone
Where: The Arena
When: Day 211, early evening
What:

[The Call to the Arena today is the simple sound of hammer on metal. Rhythmic, tireless it's almost a marching tune to those who happened to hear and follow it.

When you enter the Arena bare land quickly gives way to hot winds and an uphill slope of loose, fine sand. Your upward trudge isn't easy, with sand being the horrible, contrary thing it is when you're intent on getting ANYWHERE.

As you top the dune, you see a giant statue sitting on the thrones, leaning forward on his elbows and with a huge, jovial grin. At his feet, there is a large, spanning lake with a tropical island in the center... between you and the lake though, there are eight paths.]

HA! WARMED UP, KIDDOES?

Not cabbage food. I can do that. I've found a few good gathering spots already.

[Shakes his head.] Only telepathy. Everyone else she'd be fine as far as I know, but I can't take it in.

Ahh. Think there's probably a few people around who won't lower their bracers for that, so notebooks'd help her with them, too. I can make whatever you need to help with that.

Won't be real picky on the food, just stuff that gives Link more variety to work with. M'pretty sure he'd appreciate that.

[Nods.] It'll help with that too.

Thanks. How soon do you think you could make one?

I could bring a couple by tomorrow, if y'want. Long as you remember it, I think the first trade can wait a few days.

I usually go out as soon as the door unlocks to get some fresh stuff, so I can probably have something for you if you come by the later morning.

That should work well... got a few chores I like to get done in the morning anyway, and that'll give me some time to find material.

[Nods again.] Thanks, Edward. This really helps.

Ah, it's nothing, really. If it weren't for the rules, I wouldn't even ask for the trade.

I think most people think like that. But it's fine. We usually have a lot around anyway.

*laughs a bit*

You're probably right about that. Doesn't change that I'd do it for free if I could, though.

*doesn't like it either*

They gave us the loophole of trading, at least. May as well use it.

...might be why they allowed at least trading. With people coming from home, it might make too many people get upset.

Kinda feel like they did, sometimes... or at least hold them back. Guess our will's a bit stronger than theirs, on that.

I'm pretty sure most of the things they did were to keep teams from banding too close together.
