[The Call to the Arena today is the simple sound of hammer on metal. Rhythmic, tireless it's almost a marching tune to those who happened to hear and follow it.

When you enter the Arena bare land quickly gives way to hot winds and an uphill slope of loose, fine sand. Your upward trudge isn't easy, with sand being the horrible, contrary thing it is when you're intent on getting ANYWHERE.

As you top the dune, you see a giant statue sitting on the thrones, leaning forward on his elbows and with a huge, jovial grin. At his feet, there is a large, spanning lake with a tropical island in the center... between you and the lake though, there are eight paths.]

TODAY we're trying something a little different! We're going to sea what you kids can do to stay a crest of the issue. NOW I DON'T WANT YOU TO WAVE IT OFF or I'll have to just ship you out! I bet you're getting the boat oar in right now, huh? Well you're just going to aft to work it out from here.

The best design wins! Of course, now it aint no fun to just build a dingy and not get to see her sail, so afterwards, you're gonna get to take her out and see what she can do. The water balloons will stain anything you throw em at in your colors. HAVE FUN WITH THOSE. You got a lil bit of time, and I supplied one of the neater materials I found a couple o centuries back. You wouldn't BELIEVE the designs people'd come up with.

HA! made a few playgrounds since Storyteller was weaving a couple touchin' tales to the kiddies last night. I GOT A BIT ALL TEARY AND RECKONED YOU'D ENJOY IT TOO.

Now go pick a path an' go!

[As you travel down your chosen path, the landscape quickly and suddenly changes to another environment entirely.

The sand gives way to checkered tiles... each huge tile going easily a good jog across, and the floor stretches almost as far as you can see. A huge wooden table leg sits in the center of the room, surrounded in the far distance by three more. It doesn't look really appealing to climb...

Fortunately, instead, there seems to be a normal sized table at the base of THAT table leg with a few items on it. Besides that is a mat with something written on it and a tub of water balloons.]

On the ground level:
A table
A bucket filled with some water and has a ladel in it. Painted on the front of the bucket says BIG
A spraybottle filled with some water and labeled UP!
An assortment of knives and a nailfile on the table
A placemat that saids A FLOATING BOAT DOESN'T NEED A GOAT, with a target in the middle

[As you travel down your chosen path, the landscape quickly and suddenly changes to another environment entirely.

A pleasant, toned down, if tinny music floods from all around you, and you may recognize them as muted version of team victory themes. Fluorescent lights hum and flicker above, while the linoleum tiles below you are occasionally by a trickster-esque smily face mask. Occasionally the music is interrupted by someone speaking. It is absolutely unintelligible.

A shopping cart sits alone in a cart pen, and down the way you see five aisles filled with some variety of shapes. To your left, there seems to be a few unmanned check out counters and a large mat beyond them. Next to the mat is a tub of water balloons.]

Aisle 1 - Snacks - All the gummi blocks down this aisle are rectangular and painted with sayings like ALL NATURAL ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS and YUM YUMS. They are hand sized to breadbox sized
There is also a bag of potato chips and cheesy poofs.
Aisle 2 - Housewares - All the gummi blocks down this aisle are circles, ovals or spheres. They come in color coordinated sets and quite a few floral patterns.
Aisle 3 - Sports - All the gummi blocks down this aisle are bats, balls and super large blocks. There is also a gummi hockey stick.
Aisle 4 - Home and Garden - All the gummi blocks down this aisle seem to be rubbery tubes.
There is also a lawn gnome and a roll of AstroTurf.
Aisle 5 - Home Repair - These shelves are empty except for a few long knives and handsaws.
A mat at the check out area that says "FULL SERVICE ASSEMBLY BOAT AREA :DDD" Except no one seems to be around
A tub of water balloons]

The sand evens out to hardpack dirt and all around you is the sounds of a county fair or carnival. Bright colored tents and painted signs surround you. Booths of games stretch to either side. Some with darts and balloons, some with cups and balls, there's a ball pit and a bouncing room up ahead and in the distance there seems to be a fun house. Behind you is a set of black blocks on pipes with a sign "TEST YOUR STRENGTH"

Cheerful mechanical music plays all around you, and there are the smells of hotdogs, popcorn and fried dough wafting towards you from a concession stand.

Tied here and there are strings of … block shaped balloons floating in colorful bunches.]
