Game 129
Who: Everyone
Where: The Arena
When: Day 211, early evening
What:

[The Call to the Arena today is the simple sound of hammer on metal. Rhythmic, tireless it's almost a marching tune to those who happened to hear and follow it.

When you enter the Arena bare land quickly gives way to hot winds and an uphill slope of loose, fine sand. Your upward trudge isn't easy, with sand being the horrible, contrary thing it is when you're intent on getting ANYWHERE.

As you top the dune, you see a giant statue sitting on the thrones, leaning forward on his elbows and with a huge, jovial grin. At his feet, there is a large, spanning lake with a tropical island in the center... between you and the lake though, there are eight paths.]

HA! WARMED UP, KIDDOES?

Teamwork, effort, impressive construction. He's locked us down, which he usually does.

*may have flinched a bit when they reached the area, but is concealing it well*

… Teamwork… perhaps a rowing boat, then?

[KIND OF CONCERNED, but not saying anything. She can guess what the problem is.]

*nods*

That might work...we won't have a lot of rowers, but...

As long as we proportion the boat correctly, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

We'll probably have to consider defense and offense, too; last game, we built fortifications out of snow, then assaulted each other's. It was harmless, but we should probably rig some kind of weapon or defense.

I would suggest enclosing the main body of the ship, with gaps where appropriate… but that would narrow our field of vision far too much.

Maybe if we raised an observation platform that someone could sit on; the rowers are going to be busy, and we should probably have their position shielded.

I wonder if we can improvise some kind of heavier weapon...I think those are what we're going to be using.

*nods to the water balloons*
