[The Call to the Arena today is the simple sound of hammer on metal. Rhythmic, tireless it's almost a marching tune to those who happened to hear and follow it.

When you enter the Arena bare land quickly gives way to drifts of snow and barren, snow-striped trees. The further you go in, the deeper and deeper the snow gets. By the time you can make out the broad, grinning statue on the throne between gusts of snow laden wind, the snow chest-deep on most.

In the center, at the statues feet are two very welcome things at this point: Fur wraps of some unknown white animal large enough to drape around you and a metal pot of hot chocolate and several ceramic cups.]

	[DIRECT HIT on Van, and . . . on Van's wings as Mao rolls underneath them. The snowball flakes sing in chorus as they splatter, and Van reaches up kinda wonderingly to touch them.
