future kids meme

It's pretty much what is says on the tin. Creating future kids for favorite pairings in RP is nothing new, but it's hard to play those characters outside the medium for which they were created. Here's the place to play them, with each other; with their unsuspecting future parents, whatever.

How to Play:

Post with your future kid character | mother/father | and any preferences. Or post with your canon or OC and let the future kids come to you, using the normal format (character name | fandom | preferences )
Tag Others.
Be awesome to each other.

What the hell? What the what is going on? I am not digging the whole can't get out of here thing. And I am also not digging the whole flashback to horror stories that I am not supposed to know about thing either.

Seriously, do not like. Help would be good about now before I have a few very angry people on the warpath tearing basically all the things apart to find me.

Clark: gone. She'd gotten over it, the age gap was too large under normal circumstances and he'd never been interested in her at all until the Seal plucked them up from different years and dropped them back in 2012 for two weeks. Izzy told herself that there was no point in pining over him because if he'd wanted her that much, he would've found a way to make it work in the time they did have. ...and then there was Hugo Weasley.

Hugo: gone. That one was still smarting. He was from a different world and even if their years had been closer to the same and the age gap wasn't really there, he was from a universe where Harry Potter was not fictional and Izzy...well. She was not.

So, maybe it was just time to call it done. Feeling people leave the Force was always a deep-cutting wound and Ismara always took it especially hard when it had been a strong presence in the Force — Like Ella; Like Hugo — and so, because wallowing alone had never really been her forte, Izzy did what she'd been doing for a while, now, with the weird multiple universe travel just as much on her side as against it. She went to the Ainsley-Kents and when Darcy sent her upstairs, she shifted awkwardly in front of Conner's door before finally knocking. Unexpectedly, Conner Ainsley, of all people, had become sort of a surrogate best friend. She hadn't expected to get along with him at all and yet here she was, proactively reaching out to him first in her upset and pain.

The knock startled Con, just enough that he rolled out of his bed, springing to his feet.

"Coming!" He called out before bounding over to the door, much like the puppy that more than one person had actively referred to him as, shirtless and wearing a pair of sweatpants. The movements it took to pull the door open only took a moment and the second that Conner saw Izzy, he knew something was wrong. He didn't have the force. He wasn't magical. He wasn't even always very observant, but he could tell.

"Hey!" The blond teenager reached out for the girl who, despite everything, had become his best friend....pulling her into an unapologetic hug, shirtless and all. "What's up, Iz?" He pulled back enough to look down at her, giving her that smile, the one she had probably found annoying....more than a few times to try and cheer her up in some way or another, already.

She should probably not be surprised by the fact that he's answered the door in a pair of sweatpants and no shirt, considering his self-diagnosed allergy of shirts in general, but she still was and Izzy let out a soft huff of incredulity before he pulled her into that hug. A year ago, hugging shirtless Conner Ainsley would've been on her list of things she'd never thought she'd ever be doing, but now it was just kind of an established reality.

"Can I come in?" she asked, sighing. Conner probably didn't need the Force or magic or psychic powers to be able to tell that she was upset. If he'd even looked on the network for a second within the past two hours, he would've known exactly why she was upset, anyway, but it wasn't like she was putting a whole lot of effort into carrying herself in a way that wouldn't illustrate it perfectly to anyone at all, even the dullest, dopiest, sweetest idiot she knew.

I highly doubt that you'll be grounded until college, not that it's much of a consolation or all that helpful to know...or even the most important thing at the moment actually, you're likely going to be okay. I mean, I can't make any guarantees, but that'd be my guess.

Usually, working alone on a hunt was not a problem. Sere Winchester could take care of herself and had been for years. She was well-versed in the many different creatures that went bump in the night thanks to her late grandfather's journal and the additions made to it by her dad and Uncle Dean. There were times, obviously, when she needed to call for backup, but it was very seldom because she didn't know what she was up against.

This was on a scale she'd never seen before. Most of the time, these types of incidents were isolated. A haunted house, a nest of vampires, a pack of werewolves; even if the creatures were numerous, they tended to cluster together. These goddamned things were nowhere in the journal and they hadn't even started being reported anywhere until the early 2000s...even then, that had been in Wales. The reports were pretty exclusive to Cardiff, as far as Sere could tell, until around 2020. Then, they started cropping up in London. New York. Los Angeles. Buenes Aires. Tokyo. Whatever they were, they didn't come out often, it seemed — well, up until recently, anyway — but they lived in the sewers and they were ugly as hell with a tendency to kill when confronted.

Super, Sere thought to herself, right up my alley. No, she didn't have a death wish, but Sere lived for the adrenaline rush. She supposed anyone who chose to be a hunter sort of must.

Loading her shotgun with rock salt rounds and regular ones alternately, just in case, she parked the Jeep near the back alley where three different sightings of this fucking thing — or things — had already been reported this week. "Come on, you smelly bitch, bring it on."

It was almost laughable, Jack thought, that after spending over a century waiting--hoping--for the Doctor to come and take him back out to the stars forever, he now couldn’t stop running back to Earth any time he had half a chance. It would have been a bit of a stretch to say it felt like home, but he felt like he had a responsibility to this place, these people, and not just because somewhere among them were his many-times-great ancestors.

And honestly, he’d take chasing down Weevils over half the crap John tried to drag him into. At least with Weevils, he knew exactly what the crap was.

He tried to pretend, as he pulled up to the location of the latest sightings, that he wasn’t longing for the SUV and Tosh and all the wonderful gadgets and people he’d had to help him do this both only a decade and, paradoxically, lifetimes ago. Anyway, it wasn’t like they could get rid of him, so he’d have enough time to take them out. Whatever else he lost, Jack always had time.

Grabbing the tranq gun and the new formulation of Weevil spray he’d been toying with (and his Webley--he still hated having to shoot the creatures dead if he had to, but you never knew), he jumped out of the car, looking almost jovial until he saw a flash of blonde hair. Crap, a civilian--and then he did a doubletake, noticing her weapon. A civilian with a death wish, then.

Taking a deep breath and lowering his gun so it wouldn’t be visible in the dark against his coat, he beamed and walked up to her. “You really don’t want to be here,” he said quietly, all sparkling, dangerous eyes and glittering smile. “Never know what kind of creeps you’re going to run into at this hour.”
