Redux: an AU Harry Potter RPG

Cho had finished up her Ask Araminta column early and rather than sit in the Witch Weekly office all afternoon, she'd decided to take her notebook to a cafe and catch some early spring sunshine. Diagon Alley had become her usual haunt, to the point where she was bored of the coffee at all the little cafes. Spreading her wings a little further afield, she flooed to Godric's Hollow to try somewhere new for a change. Drink in hand, she settled at a table outside Delilah's Diner under a Warming Charm, her notebook at her elbow as she watched the passersby.

One passerby looked rather familiar. She hadn't spoken with Jun since their minor tiff about Quidditch in the journals, but Jun had the baby with her, and Cho couldn't resist. She waved, smiling uncertainly at Cedric's ex-girlfriend.

When Cho had written her journal entry, she'd had every intention of getting dolled up to the nines and finding a swanky cocktail bar somewhere. Then she'd checked her purse, and scaled down her ambitions slightly. She dressed in a smart pair of jeans, top, and heels, and headed for the Hound's Pint. It wasn't a new place to go for a drink, but at least she could sit at the bar, try something new, and hopefully talk to someone she hadn't met before.

Yes, Cho was lonely. Between Cedric's adorable daughter, Eddie seemingly loved up with Pansy Parkinson of all people, and romance the main topic in her mailbox at the moment....Cho was feeling the sting of loneliness. And if she was honest - she was an adult, after all - the sting of having not had sex in what felt like a very, very long time. It being a weeknight, the bar wasn't particularly full when she arrived - there was still a few empty stools at the bar, and she hopped up on one easily, setting her clutch down beside her.

"Um...surprise me," she said, when asked what she wanted to drink. "Something fruity and alcoholic, please." She missed the slightly exasperated look the bartender tried to hide, looking around the bar to see if there was anyone she might be interested in talking to.
