It took me long enough to figure out that there was this message board system in place. I know, I know, what kind of teenager am I?

Anyway, with Thanksgiving coming up and all, I was wondering if anyone staying at the Abigail Winters Manor might like to put together a dinner. Or a lunch, if that's more manageable for everyone. I'm away from family this year and judging from some of the people I've talked to, some of you might be, too. So I figured I'd offer. Whether you're American or not, it's just going to be a nice meal for people to get together and celebrate. If you can help me cook, that's great. If you can't but want to come eat, that's fine too. I just hope you can stay to help us polish off whatever food we end up throwing together and, more importantly, help with clean-up.

For those of you that don't know, I'm Misty Vale. Proprietor of the Abigail Winters Manor. I know the holidays are starting and a lot of you are far from home. So I'd like to remind you that you're welcome to stay at the manor for as long as you need.

I'd also like to formally invite everyone to a special Thanksgiving meal on Thursday. (Claire's post reminded me of the one thing I failed to do in my planning!)
Sadly, the cooks aren't available since they have their own plans, but I've been buying everything needed for Thursday. While I'm not a four star chef, I do know how to cook a turkey. But I'll gladly take any help offered, because otherwise I'll have that fabulous kitchen to myself. I'll be starting early Thursday, probably around 5 AM. There will be plenty of things to nibble on through the day, so don't worry about any other missed meals. So just swing by and pitch in when and how you want, or swoop on in around 2:00 PM when I start serving out.

So please, if you want a place to stay or just a good meal to go to, swing on by. The more the merrier. All I ask is that you try to be on your very best behavior. But then again, if any fights start up, it might just be like Thanksgiving anyway.
