Quidditch Life OOC

Hey! Jenna here with her second character - meet Kensi's sister, Sarah!

As they're twins, she was in the same year at school as Kensi, but unlike her sister, she was sorted into Hufflepuff. She's the quieter twin, but after the death of her brother, she took more of a lead in the family, and it's made her a lot more independent, so she's not afraid to stand up for herself. She's also Callen's friend with benefits, even though she likes him a lot more than she'd probably like to admit to people.

She might annoy or upset some people however, as she's a reporter for Witch Weekly. Sometimes she'll put her name to an article, and sometimes she'll use an alias so that she doesn't get harassed when people don't like what she's wrote about them. She doesn't see a problem with the stories she writes, she thinks all publicity is good, and that really, she should be thanked for getting your name out there more.

In general though, she's quite easy to get along with, she supports the Ballycastle Bats, and she's very family-orientated. Her bio is here if you want to take a look. I'm up for any plots with her at all, so just let me know if there's anything you want in particular.

Mary here with her third character: Anastasia "Tasia" Runcorn!

Tasia is a fun, witty, playful young woman who knows what she wants in life. Tasia is one of those people who you immediately like, and she will like you back as long as you don't screw with her and are honest. She usually gets along better with guys than girls, probably because she was raised with 4 older brothers. Quidditch has always been part of her life: her father played for the Irish Team and the Kenmare Kestrels and one of her brother plays for an Australian team; she wasn't good enough to play professionally, but she made sure she was involved with Quidditch somehow. Plot is LOVE! She needs at least one female best friend and one male best friend, and lots and lots of friends, and enemies too xD Past/present/future love interests/hookups/friends with benefits... Anything is welcome!

I owe a lot of work on the Charity stuff! I've had the idea in my had for a long time, I just haven't taken the time to sit down and write it up! So, here it goes.

The basic idea is that there are 12 players who have volunteered, or been told to be apart of it who are the main focus for driving people to donate money.

Events Incude:

- A 2012 Calendar: (To come out in December) I'll put something together, but I want to make sure everyone is okay with the pictures I might choose for their characters. So if you are okay with me randomly finding some and using them let me know, if not please comment here with some pictures you're okay with me using!

- Charity Ball: (Before Christmas). A huge event where each player will be at a different table and people can buy to be at that those tables, or the player can pay for that table and invite whomever they'd like. Or half the seats… so on. Each table will had 10 seats. Think crescent round sort of thing with fancy center pieces and an insanely boring speech in the middle. there will also be dancing afterwards!

- Date Auction: (February). Around Valentine's Day, there will be a date auction for everyone to bid on the players and win a date with the player. There will be a party after the auction and a huge open thread. There will also be an OOC post to figure out who is bidding on whom to make life a little easier! Players get to pick which charity the money goes to in this one!

- Carnival: (March). First thank you to Nicole for the idea! In the middle of March when everyone is getting sick of the snow and all the cold, One of the pitches (they'll be bidding to win, and it'll be part of what's in the news) will host a carnival. To kick off the carnival there will be a friendly match between the 12 participating players. 2 chasers, 1 seeker, 2 betters and a keeper. They'll be picked at random that day and have only one hour to get ready for the match! After the match, which will have a 2 hour time limit everyone attending will receive a free drink will the pitch is changed into a carnival ground. There will be games, challenges, food and more!

Along with the four major events. The players will be divided into teams and be requested to go visit different organizations, the safe the animals, visit the homeless shelters and so on. As soon as I'm set on who the 12 are I'll randomly pair them together and occasionally e-mail the two players with somewhere their characters have been asked to go and post it in the news!!! It's an on going thing.

Or, actually we could use an extra just in case someone backs out! Lots of options here!

Hey, it's Nicole here with my second character: Demelza Robins.

She's 23, a former Gryffindor as you know and works as the Event Manager for the Wimbourne Wasps, where her older brother Aaron also plays beater. She's pretty laid back, not quite so prone to bursting into tears when she's yelled at anymore, and tends to get along pretty well with just about everyone.

I was gonna make this more detailed but I'm out right now...and we just spent $130 on dinner and drinks... XD so.

On Halloween Night, George dons a Headless Hat and zooms around town on his broom as the Headless Quidditch Player. He'll give rides out to kids and whatnot and will do some tricks and stuff for fun. Yay!

Because I am slightly insane, I have added two new characters to my roster here. :D

Ronald Weasley via ohroonil. He's married to Hermione and working with George at the shop. He's pretty much canon Ron, and you can read all about him in his app, which is posted in his journal.

Meghan McCormack via pridekeeper. Meghan is a 1994 Ravenclaw and is Keeper and Captain for Pride of Portree. Her brother is Kirley Duke of the Weird Sisters. Penelope Clearwater is her best friend and someone should app for her. /nonsubtlehint You can read all about her in her journal, as well.

Haunted house will be posted tonight! I'm done work at 445 then today is my BFFs birthday so we're going out to dinner with her family. I'm kinda working straight through to the 31, which is my birthday so the BFF and I are heading up to NYC to celebrate and coming back the first.

Hey guys! All my talk of haunted houses at work has earned me a spot on the team for the one my store is designing and putting together. Yay!! But this means I won't be online as much for the next couple weeks. I'm so excited to be working on a real haunted house though! :D yay!! So I'm going to call a semi-hiatus until the beginning of November. Also, I'm working a 12 hour shift today so I will be late posting the haunted house details. I'll try to get it up in the next couple days. Sorry!! <3

Hi everyone, it's Chele.

I'm so sorry to do this but with all the stress I've been going through, I think it's best that I take a hiatus from RPing. This game is fantastic and I love the players but everything about life is starting to pile on and it's affecting my muses for RP.

A little about me. I'm Sarah, I live in NYC, and you can find me online at lion x serpent. I work until 5 most days (sometimes later) so I don't usually do tags during the day, but I can usually get home by about 6PM and most of my weekends are open :)

I'm sure you all know who Harry Potter is, but here are a few quick pieces about mine. He's married to Ginny, and they already have James. He decided not to go into the Auror program after all, so instead he's seeker for the Ballycastle Bats. His life pretty much revolves around Quidditch, his son, and his wife.

Sebastian is 25, an ex-Slytherin, half-blood and plays chaser for Pride of Portree.
