Title: Prove It
Notes: No beta, all mistakes are mine. I was trying to nap, but I couldn't stop thinking about B/J, so I got up and wrote this.
And the condom goes to: Debbie.
The night Babylon reopened, Brian called Justin as soon as he got to the loft.
“So? How was it? Huge crowd? Hot guys?” Justin said, “Tell me everything.”
“It was good,” Brian said.
“Good? That’s it? Wait -- why are you home so early?” Justin asked.
“I just am.”
“Brian - “
“Christ, Justin! You know why. Because I’m tired of my fucking friends breathing down my neck, showering me with attention. They’re like vultures, waiting to pounce when I break down.” Brian paused. “Because -- I miss you.”
Justin hesitated a moment, then said, “Come prove it.”
Brian flew out within the hour. |

Title: Wash Away
Notes: No beta, all mistakes are mine. This comes from a Matt Costa song called, oddly enough, Wash Away. ;-) I was swimming earlier and the song kept floating through my head and I decided to wash away Justin's worries about the rehearsal dinner. Well, technically Brian washed them away.
And the condom goes to: Debbie.
Justin paced restlessly. “I’m not ready to do this.”
“Relax,” Brian said. “We’ll manage.”
“Right. Last night I dreamed Deb threatened to kill me and our unborn child.”
Brian laughed, hard.
“I can’t help it,” Justin fretted. “I’m nervous.”
“Justin, no wedding is what’s best for us. Fuck the others.”
Justin smiled weakly. “I’m gonna take a shower. Get ready for the slaughter.”
As the water sluiced over him, Justin began to relax. When he heard Brian open the door and join him, Justin’s eyes closed and he leaned into his arms. Brian’s lips captured his, washing his worries away. |

His skin is ice-cold when you step in behind him and close the glass shower door behind you, your hand steady on his lower back. You hear him hiss as the water glances over the stitches and the wound they hold closed.
He braces himself against the wall.
Your hands wash him carefully, aware that he can’t endure tenderness, and you think to yourself that if you could suffer instead of him you would, instantly. His skin warms slowly and you rest your head lightly against his back, listening to him breathe.
“Your fucking chicken soup sucked.”
You laugh softly.

Title: Sunshine in the Rain
Notes: Thanks to ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) besamislabios for the beta. This is a rain dance...:D dirtylttlescret and I were talking about how hot and dry it is where I live and she did a rain dance for me, but nothing happened. So we thought Brian and Justin kissing in the rain might work better. *hopes*

The rain began suddenly. Huge, quiet drops splattered lazily on the sidewalk. Justin smiled. He loved rain in the city, especially unexpected showers when the sun was still shining. He wrapped his arm tighter around Brian.
“I’m wearing brand new shoes,” Brian complained.
“I’ll buy you two pair after my show,” Justin said. “It’s barely raining anyway.”
At that, the skies opened up. Within moments, they were soaked to the skin. Unable to contain his happiness, Justin laughed out loud, making Brian smile. He gathered Justin to him and pulled him up for a kiss, tasting sunshine in the rain. |
