Gus sat on the front step, waiting for Mom to get home with the keys. She had screamed him out about forgetting his again, and he was sure that Momma would too later.
Sometimes Gus thought about trading in his life in Toronto, and going to live with his Dad and Justin in New York. Then he remembered that they would rather spend most of their time fucking, and that Mom and Momma only yelled at him occasionally. The air was beginning to cool, pulling the arms of his purple sweater over his hands he settled down for the wait.

I watched Michael as he slept, soft snores escaping his lips. I reached out, running my fingers through his still thick hair, now more gray than black. He was still as beautiful as the day I had first seen him and my deep love for him had never diminished.
Our bodies may not be as supple as they once were, legs not stretching onto shoulders with the ease of yesteryear, hands not as smooth when they explored each others bodies but making love to him still felt like it had that very first time.
