I do wish we had horses here. This island is bigger than it looks and having to walk all around it is tiresome. If I could ride, it would be so much more efficient.

Anyhow, several days ago, I went around to gather some supplies that I thought might liven up the bland tea that we have. I've dried it all in the sun and sewed it into little tea bags. The results were not bad, if I do say so myself. I've made mint, ginger, lemon and lavender, so if you'd like to try some, let me know and I will give you a few bags.

There seem to be a lot of pregnant women, though I suppose that is the point of being here, after all.

I don't think I would want to give up any child that I had either. We shall see what happens at the time, I suppose.

To have a child?

It would depend on whether or not I am able to find a man whose child I wish to bear. There are prospects but no definitives yet.

I think if I'm waiting for perfect I shall be waiting a long time, but I want someone who's handsome, clever... relatively loyal to me, as much as we can be here, and someone I feel would be a good father.

Handsome and clever are pretty much a given for every man here. The rest are kind of at your discretion. The last isn't exactly needed if you're not planning to keep the baby.

Honestly, I was just looking for a no strings attached sperm donor, I got the rest kind of unexpectedly.

I don't know if I could have a baby and then give it up, but then I think about raising a child in this environment and I am not sure about that either.

It seems that some people here are "coupled", even if they have sex outside of the relationship. That is something I would want.

I knew when I came here that any baby I would have would be mine, father or no. This environment is rough, but Arva takes care of us.

I'm in one of those 'couples'. We have rules for each other out of respect, but sex is sex and it's nice to be able to enjoy yourself with whomever you want.
