*has spent a reasonably pleasant few weeks in Gondolin, exploring the city and spending more time with her mother, who seems considerably less stressed-out in her brother's city* *doesn't talk much to her mother about Domíran, however, and wonders from time to time whether her mother has divined just how...close they've become (can you tell just by looking at someone?)*
*now that the novelty of an unfamiliar city has worn off, however, is feeling increasingly bored and dejected, and missing her boyfriend more and more, afraid of calling or emailing him too often in case her father should hear of it and decide to make her life (more) miserable*
*stops into a coffee shop on her way home from dance class one afternoon, planning to do her homework there in an attempt to avoid her cousin, who keeps wanting to spend "girl time" with her (shudder)* |

*is pretty pleased with Tilion's progress on-track this season and has been kept so busy that she hasn't had time to think about his progress off-track, so to speak*
*doesn't really realise that her tendency only to contact Tilion about business matters might confuse the poor Maia but, on a rare free weekend, decides to call over to Tilion's apartment with a bottle of wine and maybe some paperwork, relating to a few endorsement deals* *at least makes the effort to dress sexy nice* *has just closed her front door when she sees that Summer is leaving Tilion's apartment* *!!*
*walks over to her and calls out chipperly* Isn't it past your bedtime? |

*arrives back in Gondolin with his husband on the afternoon following the Virtuoso Awards with the express intention to let the senior staff of the Flower and the Fountain know about their lords' new marital status before their respective agents issue the press release*
*in order to maintain some privacy, he and Ecthelion travel separately to the Palace* *while Ecthelion goes to face the music speak with Turgon, goes to find their dog and to break the news to Idril* *only manages to extricate himself with promises that he and his husband will have lunch with Idril and Tuor the following day*
*en route, texts Aerandir to ask that he and Sophie meet him at the conference room at the House of the Fountain in half an hour* *arrives back (home) at the Fountain and goes to the conference room himself, genuinely entertained by how excited Marigold is to be back here again* *tips a salute to Pete as he walks past the front desk* |
