New Alliance - OOC

Hi guys,

I apologize that I've been completely MIA -- I've been really, really sick and the fact of the matter is, I'm not better yet. I'm sorry to do this, it's lame and it sucks but I need to hiatus 'til I'm better. My head is just not in the game. And I don't mean the game, I mean like life. It's like my brain has left the building, along with my energy to focus. Plus, it's midterms. So, you can understand the kind of position this puts me in.

I just LOVE this time of year. The icon feels appropriate. It's a hospital.

Hey guys, Marissa here letting you know I'm probably going to be very, very slow over the next few days. You may or may not have heard about this Frankenstorm that is going to make things hairy in my part of the world. Could lose power, but regardless of the outcome, I have some responsibilities to keeping my place of employment up and running that I will have my hands very full at least today and tomorrow. Stressful!

Finally, everyone here is home, safe and sound. Mom's surgery went really well (thanks for all of your support and well wishes) and she is back home. I helped her get settled in, then came back home myself, so it's nice to put my feet up and get life back to abnormal.

I am now available for posting, plotting, IMing and e-mails. I'm still tired, so you may have to forgive the sluggish brain, but I'm here!
