The Meme of Plots

Hey y'all! It's a brand new year, and we've had an interesting month or so of housecleaning, and an influx of new characters, so after some discussion, the idea came up that we should revive this old chestnut to start 2016 off right!

The rules are very simple, and I urge everyone to join in:

1.) Post the names of all your characters.

2.) Tag each others characters with ways you'd like your characters to interact with them! Do you have any plots you've been dying to do? Any idea for something new? Do you just really want to do SOMETHING with that character? Let their player know!

This will hopefully give everyone a chance to get some new activity rolling for their characters. If you're having a character who's difficult to find something to do anything with, feel free to mention that and see if it shakes any suggestions loose.

Addition! At the request of Stacey, who has all the good ideas, I'm going to add this in. NA is going on 4 years old now, and in that time, we've seen a lot of people come and go, and our universe has changed quite a bit. Stacey suggested that it might additionally be fun to establish new connections between our characters, since a lot of the ones we originally started with have been lost. So in addition to steps 1 and 2 above, please consider the following:

3) What ties might you have with the other characters? Are, or could you be, friends? Do you work in the same field, or hero in the same community? What might you have in common?

4) When I created NA, I was building an amalgam, bringing together Marvel and DC, and so the point was to establish as many connections between the two universes as possible. So, for extra credit - can you tie yourself to your character's counterpart universe? For example, Bruce and Tony went to MIT together and are best friends. Back when we had a Bobby Drake, Dinah Drake Lance and Tim Drake were all cousins. Can you find a connection?

As some of you know, Spooky is throwing himself a birthday party on Oct 31st with lots of screaming presents. I've already cleared it with Kim and have talked to some who may be there, but I'm throwing this up here so the other Gothamites can prepare.

If you want your person attacked, lemme know, if you want a chance to punch Spooky, also lemme know so I can slot you in (trust me, there is plenty of Jonathan to go around).

Jonathan's largest in canon attack was the random scarecrows he used to instill fear (also the only time he didn't use fear toxin), so not wanting a repeat and since I have yet to play Arkham Knight (so I don't know if I'm stealing from there), I'm thinking...exploding jack-o-laterns filled with toxin, so that way they can be spread around Gotham (and other cities, don't think it's limited! If anyone somewhere else wants some toxin, Spooky can provide!) without him having to be there.

The biggest problem I have at the moment is keeping Scarebeast from coming out to play, so no one actively try to kill Spooky and I don't have to come up with a way to silence the monster.

Good guys: Edward Nigma has the antidote if any one wants to go pester him for it, or else we can do the same thing as canon and have them figure it out in a night because the heroes are totes smart. *grins*

Bad guys (uh, do we have any besides mine, Lex and Eddie?): Have fun? Gotham's open for buisness, don't pick up any jack-o-laterns?

In the end, Jonathan WILL be locked away, so you may all weep now for your lack of him torturing Eddie posts. I know, utter tragedy.

Hey all, Rachel here with her second character. Because Bill just had to come back and be instantly awesome, I wanted to join in on the fun. Here's Gamora! Rejoice!

I, too, went for more of a movie-verse version of her, pulling in some of the comic lore for fun. Gamora is the last of her species and was raised by Thanos to be an assassin. She's been killing lots and lots of people ever since and is now known as The Most Dangerous Woman in the Universe. So anyone with space tie-ins would have definitely heard of her. She'll be arriving with Quill on Earth and I expect things to get real out of hand real fast. Gamora doesn't know what Earth is all about and will fight you all! Rawr. Once she's on Earth with the Guarians, I expect many fights and friendships. Who's in?

I realized that I never posted my official return from vacation so hi! I'm back! And I have a long holiday weekend ahead of me with very little to do. Anyone need Hal?

Hey folks!

I am calling a hiatus for the next a/c. This weekend my parents will be here helping to decorate the nursery (Star Wars theme, hurray!) and then I am going to a friend's wedding next weekend.

But in the meantime, let's talk my chars!

Couple of things!

First off, I now have a new work schedule. I'm working four days a week now but they are 10 hour shifts. That said I probably won't be around much Saturdays since I work about noon until 10 at night. It probably won't affect my activity at all but I just wanted to give a heads up. This also means if anything big goes on during the weekends I probably won't be around much for it (Friday aside). I need to get a smartphone so I can tag during downtime at work.

SECOND! Things with Bucky are starting to escalate a bit. A few people in SHIELD now know Winter Soldier is on the loose. And Tasha has slipped a tracking device into him without his knowledge. Or anyone else's. He is still laying low and still has some Russians on his tail. Did anyone want an encounter with Bucky on the run from angry Russians?

Finally! I'm thinking to have Bucky get his memories back sometime in mid-May, like around the 14-16 or the 21-23. Those are my days off and I can devote time to concentrating on those threads. (I know people have to work and stuff during the daytime so maybe one of the Fridays nights?) I have also figured a way out for Bucky to get his memories back. Electric shock! (Sorry Bucky) As for the showdown I'm wanting to keep it small, preferably to just Natasha and Steve. Maybe a few others can tag in after Bucky's got his memories back or something. I'm just wanting to make sure that only those most likely to be there will be there. Attempting to be organized here but I hardly ever a-SQUIRREL!

Anywho, that should do it I think!

So, ever since I took on Loki, I wanted to work toward Kid Loki. Now we’re finally getting to it, and this bit of transformation is changing the landscape a bit (specifically over Oklahoma near a small town called Broxton). NA is about to get some rather permanent, stubborn illegal aliens.

So! I was thinking of making like, a timeline thing for what's going on with Bucky in hopes of making this more organized. That said, I'm trying to figure out when the manhunt for Bucky will end, where it will end, what happens in between, who all wants to be involved, that sort of thing.

So. On a completely unrelated note to the thread with Bucky going on, I'm thinking of apping Hawkeye/Clint Barton. I know he's got some in game history with Cissie but is there any other past history for the game I should be aware of?

So, here's what I got so far on my Hawkeye application. To the people who knew the last Clint here/interacted with Clint, how does it look?

Today is the day! Not the day Bucky gets caught but the day the manhunt will start! For Bucky is going after Oracle! He will be invading her watchtower tonight by sending another virus at her systems with another song for psychological warfare. I believe the plan is, and correct me if I'm wrong!, is that Oracle will call for backup when she realizes there's an intruder in the tower and some of the bats/birds and maybe even a spider will come a-rescuin.

To keep this from getting too crazy (cause Bucky's gonna be running when he realizes the odds are not in his favor), who all is going to be at the tower answering the call? I'm thinking maybe two or three birds/bats. Who else would Oracle reasonably call/would be in the tower at the time of the attack?

So things with this guy here are starting to come to a head. I know in the comics Bucky's memories get returned thanks to Steve using the cosmic cube on him but to my knowledge we don't have that here so ideas?

Also, Bucky will be invading Oracle's tower at some point soon since he doesn't know it was Skrull!Oracle after him. After that he's pretty much fair game to get caught. Maybe even his invading the tower leads to the others going after him and getting him?
