"A tragic end to the search for Noreen Mills, the California student who was chosen to join the unique and, now we know, deadly archaeological study in Northern Peru. Ms. Mills became shaken, reports say, after only a day of being on the exploration site, telling friends that she didn't think it was safe, only to go missing 14 hours after. A week long search for the twenty-two year old concluded early this morning as her remains were discovered in the nature reserve 15 miles east of Sipan, where she was last seen alive. We prayed for her safe return as a nation, and today we grieve with her family and respect their wishes for the details to remain private at this time. The study she was involved in has not been suspended, and hopes to publish results in her honour."
