Are you a fan of good music, great eats, and fantastic conversation? If so, then you're at the right place! Solaris Rd. in Nearside, Pennsylvania offers all of the above, plus an extra unique charm.
Looking for fresh-brewed coffee while listening to local bands, head over to Crevasse Coffeehouse. Need a little something sweet to satisfy a craving? Then Candi's Creme Confections is your place (mind the baker with dreads; he bites)! How about some crazy costumes for your themed dinner? Well, there's nowhere better to go than Madame Blueberry's Clothing and Costuming (don't worry about the scowling young lady, she probably won't hurt you).
There are several popular restaurants, all the books you could ever need, and beautiful antiques. For the of-age crowd, we even provide a full service bar to wet your whistle. Then, after you're done exploring the wonders of Nearside and need a little relaxation, hop on over to New Beginnings Yoga studio to unwind. Need to drop off the kiddies? Have no fear, the Little Sprout Daycare is here! So, come down to Solaris Rd., where you are guaranteed a good time.
*Mod Note: Nearside is a social game, focused on character development and looking for serious writers. You won't find zombies, murders, big-name celebrities, vampires, or people waving around magical wands. Nearside is a game where talented writers have a chance to simply play out various storylines in a relaxed atmosphere. You can either own/work at a shop or just be a loyal fan, the mods are only looking for dedicated writers who are in the mood for a fun game.

"Ours is a city shrouded in darkness."
The global city of Eden is one of the leading urban areas of commerce, fashion, and entertainment. It is located adjacent to Lake Sunil and has a population of over seven million people. The politics of Eden has been dominated by controversy, corruption, and scandals. This political environment allows for organized crime to flourish, influencing many sectors of government and business, including enforcement and law. Many have tried to oppose, few have managed to leave a footprint. Though blanketed in a cloak of opulence, Eden's lower class lives in their own sort of hell. They rely on the mercy of those above and find any avenue possible (usually organized crime) to provide a level of comfort for their family.
Let it be known that no group of people have gone untouched by the corruption in the city. They see it on the news, read it in the paper, and many live it through their daily lives. Only one question remains... How will you get by?
