Why are you even near the spatulas?!

Who: Kass and Jude
When: Lunchtime
Where: Circean Delight Kitchens
Rating: Language

Despite her quickness to leap upon any mistake, Kass was usually pleased enough to simply nod and let a chef move on by without comment, if she felt they had done well enough. This morning? No, not so much. In a rare mood, even for her, of a dark cloud over her head thanks to subverted plans from the night before, thanks to the blackout, Kass was pretty much hissing and growling at any who dared cross her path. She'd been promised a night with great potential for naughty fun, but had been quite disappointed with the turn out on that particular round of drinks.

Kass never did handle disappointment all that well.

So it was not with any pleased expression that she spotted an intruder in her territory. Instead it was with narrowed blue eyes, glinting like chips of ice, that she began moving towards the blonde man, "What do you think you're doing here?"

And my affection, well it comes and goes. I need direction to perfection.

Who: Delia and Flint
When: 6:30PM
Where: Arete Deck

After spending more than half the day in her room, pointedly ignoring the envelopes stuffed with the evidence of her father's doing, Delia decided to move her work outside. She was sick of staring at the walls of her room and only catching the occasional whiff of salty sea air that blew into her room. Delia had always loved the ocean, so calm and still, yet at the same time angry and dangerous. She loved the duality of it, how it could love you one moment and hate you the next.

Gathering up her things, slipping on a hat and sunglasses, Delia took to the ship. There was a slight aversion to the Sun deck, Delia chose this time to find a bench along Arete Deck and make herself comfortable. At the last moment she scooped up the disgusting images, unsure what she was going to do with them but at the same time, tired of trying to pretend they weren't real.

She settled on a bench facing the ever fading sun and took one long breath before slipping the photos out. Delia could feel her stomach twist and her eyes burn as she flipped through them, shoving them aside when she couldn't take anymore. Her phone rang and her laptop flashed messages at her. Shutting them both off, Delia crossed her legs and closed her eyes behind her sunglasses, letting the sun radiate through her.

Moving to the country, going to eat a lot of peaches...

Who: Claire and OPEN
When: Noon
Where: Thalia's Dinner

Although she liked the ship and wasn't too averse to the passengers, Claire was already sick of the library. She wanted to be back in Boston, or maybe settling in at New York Public. The idea that she was basically stuck on a ship didn't hit her until that morning and she was only a little scared at the idea of being stuck in the elevators after last night. Now, she wasn't completely claustrophobic but sometimes she would start to hyperventilate if she didn't get out of a particularly small space or crowded room.

Claire loved the sun and probably would have been out in it right now if she wasn't so horribly pale and prone to sunburn. It happened so easily it was hard for her to spend extended amounts of time in the sun. So she settled for cheery and adorable Thalia's Dinner, sitting at the bar in front of a half eaten burger and a cup of tea, watching the people mill around and recognizing very few of them.
