WHO: James, Mab, room for a Rook
WHEN: August 24th
WHERE: The Rookery
WHAT: James trying to dance, talking, bonding
WARNINGS: TBD, just Mab being Mab
The time before sunset, and shortly after, seemed to be a slow time for the Rookery. Not many kine coming in, and no kindred just yet. Most of the time, James was by himself, cleaning, organizing, whatever needed to be done before Rook and Mab got there. Today in general had been slower than normal, only having a handful of people coming in. He'd let everyone else go for the night about an hour ago, after they took care of their appointments, and was thus all alone. He had some time before his masters got here and that only meant one thing.
Dancing like no one was watching! While doing his chores, of course. He wouldn't ever shirk those.
The music, during the day, was louder than it was at night, but right now it was even higher, James moving to what was pumping through the space. In the corner was a mop bucket, in front of the door was a little wet floor sign, in the ghoul's hands was a mop. It wasn't a very effective way of cleaning the floor, but he was having fun. Usually, he had some punk or alt something or other on the playlist but right now, it was a new song that had burrowed it's way into his mind like a worm. Vampire by Mai Lan. He had already memorized all the words and as the sun sank below the horizon, officially, he started it over again, singing along as he continued to dance. If anyone came in, he wouldn't be able to hear them at first, but he would notice them sooner rather than later.
Anyone coming in could hear him singing at the top of his lungs - and the boy had a voice.
