"No one would ever want to make you jealous, Mab. And if you ask nicely enough, maybe we'll even let you watch," he teased. Mostly. Ash was Toreador, something Rook hadn't really put much thought into yet on what that could mean. It was something he probably should at some point, especially since the raven had perked up and had an interest now instead of later. After Mab though, the Gangrel was pretty sure there wasn't much that could shock him.
His eyes strayed to James though. He could tell that it was bothering him not knowing but that life was something that he didn't care recounting and explaining it to Ash last night was enough. And that had only happened because he had witnessed first hand how it affected the Gangrel. And the fact that Toreador needed to know deep the beast really ran. James knew the raven and that's all he needed to know until there came a day that he needed to know the rest. Rook hoped that day never came.
Rook held up his free hand and started tick things off as he went. "Scared off Anarchs. Had a heart to heart. Made out on the street. That part of me is set more than ever on having this one. Nope, I think I about covers it. Sorry to disappoint."
