Well, I think I finally got everything put back in its place. I guess it all worked out that my place didn't sell while I was back in Texas. And that magic is probably the best thing to happen to moving since the box was invented.

So with that being said, I know it's not celebrated here, but I'll still be having my annual Thanksgiving dinner at my place next Thursday! So if you want some free food done the only way I know how to make it (a lot of it), then swing on by. It should all be ready to go around four. And be kind, this is the first time I'm doing it all on my own. Last year, ma was over here to help me while Jacksass Johnnie picked at everything.

Seriously, this whole sitting back and watching people follow each other around like lost puppies has been the best sort of entertainment I've seen in a while. I have no idea what has gotten into people as of late, but this is the best people watching I've had since I stopped working at St. M's.

I never really thought my current job and my job back home would have so much in common. Really, both my former profession and my current one at home.

For example, that feeling I get when I look at my watch and it's two in the morning and keep thinking "Oh, just one more hour. Then maybe I'll go to bed." And then end up being up for another two hours.

At least tonight I'm working the door, so I can at least sit outside and enjoy the cool air and peacefulness.

Until I need to break up the malcontents, that is.

So, I was transported to a tropical island and given this speech about quidditch and jobs, but now I can't even remember what I was doing before I got here. I just know that I'm supposed to cheer for the Dolphins, work at some place called Tiki Bar and live with three people I don't know. Or I don't remember knowing.
