More snow.

Lovely.

Wjose the badass who just built a snow family in his frony lawn during a blizzard...yhat's right...this guy. Don't worry I didn't make tbem anatomically correct like last year. I don't nred another lecture fron the neighbors for thst reason.

That moment when you feel really amazing about fixing a leak in your roof...right before it doesn't hold and shit just gets worse...
yeah...time to call a someone who knows what they're doing. I'm not cut out for home repair.

This time of yesr I always start thinking about how lovely it would be to visit Greece. Maybe I'm just not a snow person. It's not all bad...I just tbink I'd rather be drinking ouzo on a beach in the shadows of all that history instead of wearing six layers and trying to figure out how to kerp dry. Oh well, life rolls on.

All of this snow is a change of pace. Is it usually like this here? Just from what I've bern hearing it might not be? Then again I've bern hearing it from recent transplants as well...so there's thst too...

Isn't all of this snow just wonderful?! Not amazing for business though. So with that being said if anyone pops in drinks are all half off and a free scone with every purchase! Even if it's just so we have something to do.

In the meantime, I'm going to practice with my cards. I really thinking I'm getting quite good!

Yeah....I don't think I can avoid this anymore...I'm sick. Guess flying in this weather finally took its toll. So if anyone needs me, I'll just be under the covers with Buddy for the foreseeable future.

Well...at least I have the ancient McLaggen cure for flying in the snow all mornig. That combined with siiting in my new arm chair next to the fireplace with Roxy kerping my feet warm...yup...it's going to be a good afternoon.

At first, all this snow was really quite lovely. Now I am starting to feel rather cooped up since going outside just seems like a horrible idea. Even the dog is starting to feel it, and she loves being inside. Maybe tomorrow it will end. Here's hoping at least.

Last new years, Kevin and I got so drunk one of us ended up hugging plants while the other got a little less than clothed.

...or both of us.

I honestly don't remember which was which, or if it was a little bit of both.

Either way, I'm fairly sure this year will be just as much fun.

And I will try to keep my pants on in public. Promise.

I can honestly say, this is the first holiday season in a long time that nothing has gone wrong, nothing has bothered me, and that I can really get into all of it. Feel the joy and spirit of everything that's going on.

It might have been a very strange year, but the last few months have been wonderful. I'm thinking that it's a good omen for next year.

I don't know how I honestly managed to do this, so I'm not questioning it in the slightest. BUT, somehow I found a sitter for the kids so Kade and I can have an actual adult night out on New Years Eve.

And you'd better believe that I am making the most out of this tomorrow. I'm even leaving the house early tomorrow morning to pick up a new dress. It's going to be a brilliant night.

Alright y'all, listen up. My friend Vince is here visiting for over New Years from back home. I think I introduced him to a fair number of you during the World Cup, he was one of my chasers. He's the Puerto Rican looking fellow that was following me around like a lost puppy always yammering on about something, in case you don't remember him. I know, there were a lot of people there. But he's a friendly guy, and he's heard me talk so much about you guys, figured that I'd show him around while he was here! So, be nice, or not, whatever. Just if you see him lost around Diagon, just point him to the nearest place to get a beer, yeah? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Always nice to spend a bit of time back home for the holidays. Had a lot of fun with Batesy while we were down there, got to listen to him play with his band a few times. It's still hard to believe how big of a following they've got now. I mean, it's not, because they're amazing, but yeah.

It's also nice to be back and getting settled in. Looking forward to see how you lot celebrate the new year!

Looks like tonight is going to be Christmas 2.0 for me.

So much beer to try. So little time.

Too bad Ryan's still sulking from Christmas 1.0 to come and enjoy this. I think he might actually would have enjoyed it. Oh well, more beer for me.

At least the Calendars turned out not so bad.

After ensuring the family knows and have had a time to celebrate it, I would like to let everyone know this was my first Christmas with Summer. We would also like to announce our engagement. I am the luckiest man on the earth, and this year has blessed me with many graces.

Whose got two thumbs and finally finished her shopping? That's right, me! Ha! And a full three days before I did last year. Guys, I think this is a new record for me. Now...I just need to wrap all of them.

So if anyone is interested in getting together for a low key wrapping party, just let me know. I'll provide wine...and maybe you lot can provide tips to better wrapping. That doesn't invovle me shoving everything into a bag with some tissue on top. I think maybe this year I should attempt to make a wee bit of an effort.

Also, the fact that I was able to get it done while dodging these bloody mistletoes is a Christmas Miracle!

In case anyone was worried, no, the two Irish boys and the annoyed Scotsman had yet to get into too much trouble. And what they did cause I erased it Wrangling them home before they blow a whole in the wall of the run down mill.
