I think I'm going to set up a little beach day for the kids, if anyone wants to join us this afternoon. I think Annie finally got it that daddy had to go home, I can't tell if Callum is there yet or is just dealing with it better. So I figured a fun day at the beach might cheer them up.

So, really, adult, kid, whoever, you're more than welcome to join. I'll probably bring some kind of snacks as well. We'll be on the north side. This house feels so empty

Look, I know that I joked about being a Super-mum and all, but this whole hearing what my kids are thinking is a bit beyond ridiculous. Though there is a novelty in being able to stop them from picking on each other and spoiling they're plots. At least that part is amusing.

I won't lie, I'm a wee bit nervous about venturing out of the house today. Not that I don't like you lot, I just really don't wish to be hearing what you're thinking.

There's a point in the day where all you want to do is curl up in bed with a pot of tea and a good book. And then realize that's not going to happen and you keep fixing dinner anyway. And you realize that you're actually happy doing what you're doing. Even if part of you is being a little selfish.
