Weather -

Warm with maximum temperatures of 27 degrees, (on Thursday), and minimums going as low as of 12 degrees, (Tuesday). No rain but Wednesday will be a bit gusty at times.

Week Events -

The town and it's tribes are slowly recovering from the events back in January.


Wide plots -

The death of Bridget has seen Marigold promoted by vote to the leadership of the Cano, and Saga’s crackdown on outsiders has tightened the grip of the Chets on the areas which used to be more relaxed and open, and has now made Cascade Locks a much more dangerous place not to belong to a tribe than it used to be.

Week Three

Sunday 3rd January 2016 to Saturday 9th January 2016

Weather -

Very cold with maximum temperatures of 4 degrees and minimums going as low as -5 degrees. It is not snowing or raining, however existing snow will not have had chance to thaw and winds are still very strong.

Week Events -

The slavers in the woods that were discovered last week will attack Cascade Locks and kidnap some residents.

Saga will declare war on Enks, as they are strangers, much as the murderous strangers were. The borders will be tightened and security will be pumped up and more violence will be allowed.


Wide plots -

Slavers in the woods, will kidnap one or more characters. When they are found Hagar’s body will be found

Sunday 27th December 2015 to Saturday 2nd January 2016

Weather

Very cold with maximum temperatures of 4 degrees and minimums going as low as -3. It has at least stopped snowing and raining, but existing snow will have frozen and winds are still very strong.

Week Events

- Sunday 27th of December- 'The Memorial' The memorial takes place on neutral ground, at the Church. It is a chance for everyone, from all tribes and none to gather and speak, remember or simply pray for those they lost during and after the Pulse. While the 21st was a chance to celebrate being alive, the 27th is a day to remember the lost and dead.

- New Years Eve Is another community wide party taking place on, of course, the 31st. This is a chance to really party, leaving behind the clinging sadness of the end of the world and welcoming in the new year, with new chances, new opportunities and possibly new tribes and new loves.

Wide plots - Rumours are flitting around about Doc apparently having a ‘deal’ with the Lawu, while a couple of questions are being asked about other tribes’ (and Enks’) medical supplies - or rather where they are getting them from.

Hagar has disappeared this week, and rumors and accusations are abound.

Also, in the forest, campfire smoke has been sighted by a Cano scouting party.

Mods Notes - For ‘The Memorial’ and ‘New Year’s Eve’, group threads will be set up by the mods.

We’ve decided to make Hagar’s disappearance into a plot point for next week (week three) in game, so please no one find a body.

Week One

Sunday 20th December 2015 to Saturday 26th December 2015

Weather - cold at between 3 and 1 degrees centigrade across the week, with fairly strong winds and a couple of inches of snow.

Week Events - This is a week for meeting, celebrating and generally having fun.

- ‘The End Of The world Party’ takes place on the 21st, marking the anniversary of the Pulse.
With one day to go, party organisation is in full swing. The Tawas have been working on decorations - managing to rope the Cano into helping with tree decorations - around the Trading Post and neutral zones, as well as their own territory. They have also been busy sorting out the music, party games and other entertainment. The Lawu are busy gathering the alcohol stock and the Oma should be providing the food.

- The 25th is of course Christmas Day. Each Tribe will have individual Christmas celebrations within their own borders, drawing together and giving thanks for their continued lives. Pre Christmas, each tribe will prepare their own area, and the Chet’s in an unusual and seasonal display of festive joy have strung lights using their precious generators and fuel.

The Oma take the season as a reason to help out any Enks at the church by helping with food, and the Lawu open the Casino to all for one night.

The Tawa are cashing in on the season by offering to provide music for Christmas festivities.
