Christmas - Enk

Christmas Day

Christmas Day is a time for togetherness, and each of the Tribes are drawing together for the day, for the building of friendships and new family - though all have time to go and see those they care about from other area’s. The Enks are welcome at most of the tribes to eat, and everyone’s movement is much freer as the Chet patrols are looser and often a lot drunker than on normal days. This will also be the last day that Saga keeps the lights on.

The Enks
This is one among very few good days to be an Enk, they are welcome to move amongst the Tribes, testing them out, but they are still watched. Those who choose not to mix with the Tribes should head to the church, where the Oma are giving out blankets and food.

The Cano

The Cano emerge from their trees inviting others in to see their decorations, and pooling their resources to have a dinner on the ground. They open themselves to others, having more fun and festivities than usual and using the day to attract new members to their tribe

The Oma

The Oma’s Christmas is pretty traditional in the sense that they give gifts, eat well and toast to family and friends. They also take the season as a reason to help out any Enks at the church by taking food and some blankets (if needed). Enks and certain other tribe members are also welcome to join them if they wish to.

Christmas - Tawa

Christmas Day

Christmas Day is a time for togetherness, and each of the Tribes are drawing together for the day, for the building of friendships and new family - though all have time to go and see those they care about from other area’s. The Enks are welcome at most of the tribes to eat, and everyone’s movement is much freer as the Chet patrols are looser and often a lot drunker than on normal days. This will also be the last day that Saga keeps the lights on.

The Tawa

The men and women of the Tawa use this time to renew their bonds and indulge their creative side, not for trades, but for the pure joy of it, many of those who rarely sing and dance often get up and take a turn, and Swifts alter ego makes a foul mouthed and hilarious entrance. The Tawa will also openly take in members of other tribes who wish to spend time in a different environment and even the Enks who are brave enough to approach them and ask for a space at their table.

Who Vesper and Christmas Spirit (Open to Everyone/Multiple, see OOC)
When December 25th, early morning to early afternoon. Prior to celebrations.
Where Begins in the Church area, spreads to just about everywhere save Chet territory (though Chets are welcome to approach Vesper!)
What Gift giving, socializing, avoiding socialization
Rating PG-13 at the highest
Warnings Some discussion about religious related things in the first paragraph during the ceremony of Mass. The rest reads fine without it.

Mass was yet another event Vesper had to endure... )

(ooc: Vesper is making gift rounds. Some people have been informed they have gifts but she might surprise your muse with a gift if you tag in. Or not. Whatever makes sense. However this is opened to everyone and for multiple threads. For example, Vesper could see Anne, then after Anne she sees Bob, and after Bob she sees, Charlie, and then Daisy. You can assume she went your home, ran into you, or you caught her before she left the Church yard. Please assume any interaction in the Church yard comes first due to it's location and it's where she begins.)

Week One

Sunday 20th December 2015 to Saturday 26th December 2015

Weather - cold at between 3 and 1 degrees centigrade across the week, with fairly strong winds and a couple of inches of snow.

Tribal Birthdays - Tiny (11)

Week Events - This is a week for meeting, celebrating and generally having fun.

- ‘The End Of The world Party’ takes place on the 21st, marking the anniversary of the Pulse.
With one day to go, party organisation is in full swing. The Tawas have been working on decorations - managing to rope the Cano into helping with tree decorations - around the Trading Post and neutral zones, as well as their own territory. They have also been busy sorting out the music, party games and other entertainment. The Lawu are busy gathering the alcohol stock and the Oma should be providing the food.

- The 25th is of course Christmas Day. Each Tribe will have individual Christmas celebrations within their own borders, drawing together and giving thanks for their continued lives. Pre Christmas, each tribe will prepare their own area, and the Chet’s in an unusual and seasonal display of festive joy have strung lights using their precious generators and fuel.

The Cano decorate their trees and are more open in their conduct

The Oma take the season as a reason to help out any Enks at the church by helping with food, and the Lawu open the Casino to all for one night.

The Tawa are cashing in on the season by offering to provide music for Christmas festivities.

Wide plots - settling in, and coping with the cold and snow.

Mods Notes - For the End of the World Party and Christmas Day, group threads at the Trading Post will be set up by the mods.
