Melody had lived in Cascade Lock all her life, and it was still weird to think of the different parts of the town as some kind of territory. Chet, Oma, Lawu, Tawa...at first that had been utterly confusing to her. And it still just felt odd to walk towards the clinic and think of it as Chet territory.
But how could she not? She walked into their territory on a daily basis, even though it wasn't her own tribe, and it had lost nothing of it's intimidation. She didn't even know the Chets personally, well, with one exception of course. The one she was heading towards. But in her mind Topher wasn't part of the tribe. He worked on their territory, but that was about it. Where Melody was concerned at least.
She was clothed in at least two layers of clothes against the cold, topped off with a thick coat that was a little big for her, did it's job. Her hands where in thick gloves and there was a small basket hanging from her arm. She was hurrying along, but only a part of that was because of her fear of Chets (though admittedly a rather large part). The other part of the reason were the contents of her basket. Christmas themed cupcakes. She had made quite a few of those, and already gave them to her friends, but she hadn't managed to see Topher yet.
Entering the clinic she hummed softly to herself, knocking at the door that would lead to her friend's room, wibbling a little on her toes.
