Unfortunately using a play on words is easier for people who can lie so they can just say “I don’t want medical help right now” when they really do. I could say someone wanted me to look out for her but if she asked for specifics, that’s a different story.

I’m assuming you haven’t told Julia how you feel about that, have you?

Like I said, at this point I don't care. I made Yelena a promise and it pissed me off that I might not be able to keep it. I can drag myself out of bed and use Cloak to fly me over to wherever Natasha is, but I'll be shit for company.

Hell no. I only meant to make a joke here, and look at the shit storm I started, I don't have the spoons to deal with another. Julia's got it in her mind, and I'm not the fucking magic police.

Yeah, I’ll look out for her. I’ve been doing more comforting this week than I expected to with my own curse but I will.

If it helps, I’m not volunteering for that. So no dead Allisons. Than there already was.

And I'm glad. I don't know. Is it worth disturbing the reset cycle of Derleth? I don't think so. When you deal with raising the dead in any capacity, you're treading on thin ice. It might cause problems for individuals, and we don't know if it'll backfire and mess up everybody on campus. There are also ghosts on campus that is just waiting to inhabit a shell, and they could take advantage of these golems.

That did cross my mind.
