The vibe is definitely more high school basement dance party than it is night club (or dance class), but hey, it's Delerth, and it's Hoth, so even if he's just thrown some colorful scarves over the lamp on the front desk, Hugh's decided that he's sick of his room and sick of the cold so on Night Five, it's an Impromptu Dance Party in the Lobby of Butler Hall.

If you're close enough to talk to Hugh regularly, he definitely told you about this and told you to invite people. He might have stuck notes on the bathroom doors mid-afternoon. Otherwise, anyone who wanders through is welcome to join. He doesn't have refreshments of his own, sorry, but if you bring drinks - you are his new favorite person. He'll have pushed whatever furniture there is out of the way to create a semi-decent dance floor. Hugh loves dancing. It's one of his major ways to relax, so he's kind of self-care-ing here, but at least a couple of people encouraged him to do it, so he hopes it'll help other people relax too.

As for the music? Well, it's all from Hugh's laptop - at least initially. His iTunes library stops around Oct. 2018 which was the last time he was home, and it swings heavily towards musicals and pop including stuff from the 80s, 90s, and a lot of dance-pop remix stuff. His tendency will be to queue up stuff that has a good dance beat and makes him happy (I'm not gonna make a playlist specific for this, but have a supremely unorganized Hugh playlist if you want an idea) There will be some Imagine Dragons thanks to Rey, and he's open to other things, you just have to bring it, and possibly the device to play it on.

The only real goal is to keep warm by dancing, spend time outside your dorm room, and enjoy some tunes.
