A QUIET PLACE - DAY 1
So I managed to get some photographs. I don't see any eyes or damage despite the fact that this thing was throwing itself against the building.

I'm pretty sure they're attracted to sound. They didn't seem to notice us when we were quiet, but the second we started talking, they were throwing themselves against the window.

Looks like some kind of external shell. There’s got to be some way of penetrating it. Everything has a weak spot.

So, I might have already tried hitting one of them with a blast. It barely scathed it. So....that’s the bad news.

Can we get some kind of scan on them? Maybe I can go out again if we have a device?

Full, charged up blast? Or just a regular one?

You'd probably have to check with one of the science people for a scan. Maybe one of the ones who have dealt with other species a lot.

There should be some coordinated efforts to get people to food, clothing, etc. Maybe Julia can take point on that since she's already offered?

I tried to blind one right through the window. They are definitely completely eyeless. Or immune to light.

I couldn't find anything that looked like eyes in the photographs, but if they're alien, then theirs might look very different from ours.
