A Meeting of the Minds
Who: All Active and past X-Men team members, staff, and X-23
What: Meeting
When: FORWARD DATED to May sixth, 8pm
Where: Conference Room, sub-basement
Rating: Probably end up an R with who's involved
Everything had been perfectly orchestrated to lead up to the meeting being held in a little while. Ororo had wanted this to happen days sooner but with things happening one right after the other they would have been having meetings like this every day. It was best to just get everyone together and go over everything at once. It would save them all a lot of time and let some action be taken. Action that had more structure to it than going by everyone's personal moral codes and ideals.
She wasn't thrilled with X-23 by the time the young woman had walked into her office just a couple of hours ago. All this time it had been Ororo's understanding that the first destroyed anti-mutant cell had been all her doing, the deaths and the fire intentional. When she found out from X-23 herself that the fire had been a result of the people in the building attacking her and firing wildly without thought, her demeanor changed a bit. This girl reminded her so much of Logan sometimes, it was scary.
Now the pair of them were downstairs awaiting for the others to arrive. Ororo had to break the news to X-23 that her companion, Dr. Essex, had disappeared in the middle of the night with several students going missing as well. She tried to play indifferent but Ororo caught the quickly passing look of hurt on the younger woman's face.
Once she helped the girl understand their computer systems and 3-D map units, Ororo took a seat to wait for everyone else to show up and watch X-23 as she scanned through everything she'd brought to share with the rest of the X-Men.
