JJ headed into the kitchen, looking pale and uncomfortable. "Urgh, I can't stop puking," she sighed. "Being pregnant is kind of shit."

Jayden gave her a sympathetic look and moved to help her over to the table. "Sit here, I'll get you something to drink, okay? You want me to get Nick and Jesse?" He went to fetch some water as she nodded. When he handed over the water, she smiled warily at him.

"Thanks, Jayden. You're amazing."

"Nah, I just like you," he said with a grin and a wink, and he darted off to find his brother and Nicholas.

"I don't know, but I vote that we try," Jesse replied. He pulled the keys to their SUV out of his pocket and tossed them to Isaiah, who was closest to the door leading to the garage. Isaiah caught them and was gone in a flash, the door slamming behind him before Richard had even finished turning around.

"Jay, get over here!" he shouted, wiping some blood out of his eyes. "If we're going to make a break for it, we need to do it now, while he can't throw objects. I'm not going to stick around and wait to see if he gets that power back."

Isaiah leaned on the horn outside, he'd driven the SUV around to the back of the house, leaping the curb and driving onto the lawn to get closer to the back door.He figured he'd be forgiven, all things considered. Jesse grabbed his brother's hands and dragged them toward the door, determined to put as much distance as possible between Richard and them.

Despite the pain he was in by the glass littering his skin, Jayden jumped up and let Jesse pull him towards the door and outside.

Adrian darted ahead, pulling the door open so he could push Jayden inside before himself. Once they were all in, Adrian turned to Jayden to assess the state his little brother was in. There was glass in his face, but none of the cuts looked too deep, and his eyes, thankfully, had been spared. "Shit," he breathed, hoping somehow that the ghost couldn't follow them.

Jesse threw himself into the front seat beside Isaiah, white-knuckling the dashboard as they drove away. There were pieces of glass embedded in his hands and face, but he ignored them for now, opting instead to turn around and see how his brothers were doing.

"We need to go get stitched up," he said, wincing as something pulled in his face and deepened a cut. He pulled up the nearest hospital on his GPS, and started reading directions out to Isaiah. "And once we get there, I want to call Nicholas and JJ, make sure they're alright. We'll figure out what to do next from there."
