All right little lions, some updates and a request on further insight.

1. Our lovely captain MacDonald won't be playing in the Fall Classic. I am as utterly heartbroken as all of you. Trust me. If Cav can work through some legality, we should have a reasonable (and fucking awesome) replacement. I'll let him update you on that one. Least I speak before anything is done and dusted.

And Maggie can give you the full story on her prognosis.

Meanwhile, I would like to trial some change ups. Scrimmy, if you're keen, I would love to see how you can hold in a few scrimmages playing beater, because hell if they let me play beater, why not you? (Which is also to say David -- we might need you for redemption part one.)

2. New temp field captain. I have some thoughts, but I will also put it out to you lot to see what you think.

3. MOST IMPORTANTLY: I want all your insight and observations on Montrose. I fully intend to destroy them and Merc. This is why I am bringing the Moose against Campbell, but I'll probably need more than that, so lend me your brains.

An exciting week of training upcoming. Plus Bonfire night. Team bonding abounds!

If you need a Temporary field captain, Alasdair is really good for that sort of thing.

And we're better than Montrose. If they didn't have a good seeker they would've won none of their matches! But we won one without a snitch and tied another and have never been behind on quaffle points! But they do have that one beater that's anything to get by. Especially without Cap.

	Jason is their strongest Chaser by a good way. But, he's also smart, so he'll be expecting us to try and disable him. I'd suggest we try and shut down the other two so he has no-one to pass to or to pass to him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I have every confidence that Scrimmy would give her all if you did decide to play her as beater, as much as I appreciate having her as a Chaser alongside us. She's a wee powerhouse and no mistake.

Scrimmy has a point about Campbell. He, King and Yaxley are the strongest links in that team and we need to consider what to do with them, especially as Yaxley seems to be played as a defensive beater with the job of protecting those two and the Keeper at most. I watched her play and I think they'll try and unleash her sheer power more against us, especially the Chasers, but if their Seeker and lead Chaser find it hard to get through everything that pretty much disables their playing style.

Gutted about Oighrig, though. She really would have given Yaxley something to worry about.
