All right little lions, some updates and a request on further insight.

1. Our lovely captain MacDonald won't be playing in the Fall Classic. I am as utterly heartbroken as all of you. Trust me. If Cav can work through some legality, we should have a reasonable (and fucking awesome) replacement. I'll let him update you on that one. Least I speak before anything is done and dusted.

And Maggie can give you the full story on her prognosis.

Meanwhile, I would like to trial some change ups. Scrimmy, if you're keen, I would love to see how you can hold in a few scrimmages playing beater, because hell if they let me play beater, why not you? (Which is also to say David -- we might need you for redemption part one.)

2. New temp field captain. I have some thoughts, but I will also put it out to you lot to see what you think.

3. MOST IMPORTANTLY: I want all your insight and observations on Montrose. I fully intend to destroy them and Merc. This is why I am bringing the Moose against Campbell, but I'll probably need more than that, so lend me your brains.

An exciting week of training upcoming. Plus Bonfire night. Team bonding abounds!

	It sounds like a dream and I've read every beater theory book and love friendlies but I didn't even play beater in school. ~~and I tried out like fucking three times~~ I don't think I'm a better beater than chaser. 	~~Really?~~ Even I got to play beater once professionally. You're tiny, but you are fucking mighty. I would at least like to run a few drills. See how you play off Luag. 	I do have your and the team's best interests in mind here. If you're not comfortable with it, we won't do it. Doesn't mean we can play around with it in training. 	I know you do and I will 5000% love to help beater stuff in training! I've just never played beater in a real match that's like not a casual thing. And I really really really don't want to disappoint. Well I was planning on breaking them anyway. Some keeper is gonna lose fingers and all the better if it was Montrose!
