[PRIDE PLAYERS & STAFF]

All right little lions, some updates and a request on further insight.

1. Our lovely captain MacDonald won't be playing in the Fall Classic. I am as utterly heartbroken as all of you. Trust me. If Cav can work through some legality, we should have a reasonable (and fucking awesome) replacement. I'll let him update you on that one. Least I speak before anything is done and dusted.

And Maggie can give you the full story on her prognosis.

Meanwhile, I would like to trial some change ups. Scrimmy, if you're keen, I would love to see how you can hold in a few scrimmages playing beater, because hell if they let me play beater, why not you? (Which is also to say David -- we might need you for redemption part one.)

2. New temp field captain. I have some thoughts, but I will also put it out to you lot to see what you think.

3. MOST IMPORTANTLY: I want all your insight and observations on Montrose. I fully intend to destroy them and Merc. This is why I am bringing the Moose against Campbell, but I'll probably need more than that, so lend me your brains.

An exciting week of training upcoming. Plus Bonfire night. Team bonding abounds!

We have something in the works for the beater situation.
Tied up in legal right now.
I remain optimistic.

Scrimmy is best played as a chaser. Plus would absolutely love to see her break Savage's fingers.

But I can't leave the side without a solid defense.

Might have to start considering some defensive offense runs now.

Sure, with Yaxley, but I'd lay odds on them not being afraid of a foul or two across the board if it meant a win.

Well, that's good news to hear. I look forward to hearing about it when the time's right.

Fingers are a bitchy one for a Keeper. Not that I wish incapacitation on anybody, but lingering hand problems right before the Neep would definitely not be good for him. And with any luck, the players in their subsequent matches might do the job for us.

Sounds good, boss. I'm keen to work on defensive plays too, because I don't doubt they'll try and shut down our Quaffle game. At least if they tried to keep possession away from us, we know right in time for the Need that they're worried about our attack.
