"I hear WADA's hiring, if you're looking for a new job " Maggie replies as she digs into her kit for a couple potions and a small jar. She hands him the potions first—one for the pain, and one for the healing—and frowns when she looks back up.

"You've cracked a couple ribs and you'll be wearing your back Pride purple for a few days, but this should help." This comes with a motion for him to take off his shirt (carefully), wiggling the jar of bruise paste at him.

	"And trade one set of drama for another? Perish the thought." He downs the potions with a slight grimace, and then does as bid, peeling off his shirt slowly. Any other day, this would be awkward as all hell, but they were both professionals, dammit. "Can't work out if the Harpies came to play today, or just take out their frustration on the crowd." Maggie mutters, "I'll take out my frustration on their fucking beaters," and does her sworn paste-applying duty. She sees injuries every day (literally. it's her job. ... both of them.), but there's a certain subset that she's especially not a fan of, and Owen was hitting all those marks.

"Did Fergus see?" She asks, trying to keep her tone conversational instead of worried.

Owen laughs at her sotto voce comment, before wincing and sucking in a breath. If he knows anything with any degree of certainty right now, it's that Maggie is using everything in her power to keep the additional pain to a minimum, but- fuck- he'd forgotten all about that initial burn of the paste doing its job. "Yeah, he was right there. Ama grabbed him and pulled him back. He... looked concerned when I left, but I can tell he's going to make this into some epic tale of daring-do before the day is done."

"He'll bounce back. Braw." She finished up with the paste and went to wash her hands, still frowning. "You'll come see me if it doesn't improve, or anything changes, aye? The... Roberts's request–" cue unhelpful gestures to indicate 'when the one coach asked me to give an exam to the other coach and it was weird and uncomfortable' "–that's a different beast than you getting knocked around at a match. And if you went into Mungo's they could toss you to me anyway, so." She shrugged.

	He tossed an offhanded smile in her direction, and some of the tension bled from his shoulders. "Ta, cheers," Owen said with a single nod. "Glad to know I'm not crossing boundaries here." "No boundaries so long as you get dressed again," Maggie replied with a smirk, dropping the jar of paste on his shirt. "Get the other MacFarlane to help you with that twice a day, and don't be an imbecile. Take it easy, don't strain your back, don't lift crap — what you'd expect. I'll write you a list before the match is out."

Then she followed Owen's gaze and groaned. "No anyone told the Harpies it's my job to fix the players. They owe me a fuckin' gift basket."

	Pulling his shirt on again, Owen gives Maggie his very best I-Am-A-Model-Patient look and nods very seriously. "Unlike most of the team, I tend to listen to my healthcare providers.
