David's big game! Sure he's had one already but that was a while ago. So Alec has made sure to clear most of this afternoon so he can watch and cheer his little brother on. Definite wincing when David gets hurt, and making a mental note to make sure he gets it checked out.

Peggy is also in the box to watch her brother, and cheer him on. She has invited Georgi to join them (though he may be off practicing). Even though there are Scottish Office interviews going on this week, Peggy made a special effort to be in the box for this match.

She really doesn't like it when David gets hurt, but she's relieved it doesn't force him off the pitch.

Georgi is there! He got out of training a little early for this, and is happy to be able to see David play. He's hoping it's a long match, because last week's match was so short and disappointing, and ends up very pleased with the length if not with the Harpies' play. Of course he watches the Beaters the most because he's a fanboy, and points out to Peggy and anyone else nearby some of the excellent plays and some of the mistakes made. Watching Lorna at work is one of his greatest pleasures and now he gets to see how Keke stacks up, too, so he can geek out happily the whole match

Peggy is paying close attention because she feels like she's learning more about Quidditch from Georgi than she ever did in school. Or from anything else. He makes it more interesting.

Aw <3 He's just happy she doesn't think he's a boring nerd when he talks Quidditch. He's happy to answer anything she wants to know more about, and has very thoughtful explanations and opinions on everything related to the game.

She's more interested in the chasers, since her brother is playing that position, and particularly wants his opinion on how they work with the other positions. Like it's obvious what they do, in terms of putting the quaffle through the hoops, but what else are they doing?

Also she's generally boggled and disappointed by the poor showing of the Harpies, and wonders what Georgi makes of that.

Oh good, Peggy will get all his enthusiasm for the theory and tactical approach to Quidditch today. Georgi will point out (sometimes not really knowing the right English words, sorry) certain tactics the chasers on both sides are using offensively and defensively: how the three of them, in addition to their individual flying, do a lot of work in concert as the biggest bloc on the pitch, how they can use their numbers to harry the opposing keeper or protect their own, how they can use various formations to break up opposing chaser plays, how they can even work with the seeker and beaters to manage the various balls in play through controlling sightlines and preventing clear angles. He makes sure to point out to her what David is doing and why (or at least Georgi's perspective on why; he's never actually played chaser but he used to play double duty as a keeper sometimes, so he has that perspective on the chasers' game) and makes sure to point out when he makes a particularly good or interesting/daring/clever choice, whether or not it's very obvious.

He's philosophical about the Harpies, because even the best teams can have a bad match where nothing seems to connect. It happens!

This is all really interesting to Peggy. His fascination is kind of catching apparently.

Peggy says quietly that they had a few really strange matches like this earlier in the season, and people had suggested that there might be match-fixing going on, but Peggy hadn't known enough to evaluate those claims one way or another.
