Alright, so that had been a lot more fun than she'd been expecting. Mercy was an interesting woman, and Faith didn't have that opinion about many of her own gender. Most women, she'd found, were shallow, vapid, uninteresting people only into makeup and clothing. Not her type at all. Mercy, however, had a brain in her head, and almost despite herself, Faith had been drawn into conversation with her. She was glad that they'd spent the time together that they had.

Actually, it might have gone on longer if the group activities hadn't come calling. She'd seen others being dragged off, but didn't make the connection that it would happen to her. And since she wasn't in her room, she didn't get the note that said she was supposed to be at the lakeside. The first she knew of it was when she was hoisted into the air by a large humanoid form that seemed to be made of stone and carried away. On the plus side, she got to exercise her rather extensive collection of swear words as the thing carried her.

Fighting, surprisingly, was completely ineffectivel. She was held in such a way that she couldn't get her full strangth behind any of the attacks. Of course, she wasn't the type to give up. When the thing finally deposited her by the side of the lake, she was still fighting and cursing her head off. The golem seemed to not care in the slightest. There didn't seem much point to continuing to insult it, but she didn't let that stop her.

"Oooh, that's it, bitch. Yeah, you'd better run, or I'm coming for your ass!" Of course, the thing wasn't running, it was simply stumping away, but it made her feel better to say it. Then, she turned around to see where the hell she was.

Shannon woke up to the sensation of being watched, bolting up from her place on the floor - the bed had been so comfortable it'd been uncomfortable since she was so used to sleeping on the sand - with wide eyes and a pounding heart. For a second, she forgot where she was, because it was a feeling she knew so well that she'd thought she was back on The Island.

But then, she looked around and took in the surroundings. Still on Mirage...and then she spotted the stone creature standing over her and she screamed, scrambling away from it and getting to her feet. "Jesus Christ!" she gasped. "What the fuck?!"

The golem held a note out to her and she snatched it, looking down at it to read. When she finished, she shook her head and handed it back. "Dream on," she replied, frowning. "Not happening."

Granted...it was boating, which meant there was a possibility of sailing and sailing was one of the few things Shannon actually liked. Plus, she'd seen Sam Tyler's name on there and she'd had yet to meet him in person, which could be interesting.

But, it was still one of the forced, supposedly fun activities and she wanted no part of it. If she was going to do something, it was going to be on her terms.

...or, as it would seem, the golem's, because it lifted her over its shoulder and carried her all the way out to the lake. She went, indeed, kicking and screaming the whole way.

The golem dropped her unceremoniously down on the ground and started away. "You think just dropping me there is gonna make me stay? You wish," she said, starting back toward the resident building. The golem turned around and cut her off. Shannon took a step to the right, so did the golem. She took a step to the left and it did, too.

That was when Shannon noticed the other woman. "How do we get these creepy things to go away?" she asked, frowning, continuing her pointless dance of back and forth, complete with attempted fake-outs of which the golem was a step ahead every time.
