Lucas had spend some time in the library and was now taking a walk around the place. He was hoping to find some way to get back to Gilmore. He didn't think he would but he hoped he figured that he should at least try.

He stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked down by the lake. He looked out on the lake and watched the waves lap for a few moments.

Layla took a sip of her drink, anticipating that something bad would happen, when it didn't she smiled and nodded. "MMmm, that is good." Layla said softly.

"Thanks for thinking I am not, I just feel like a pain in the you know what?" Layla said with a laugh. "I am enjoying the company too. Too bad we hadn't met at school, it would have been nice. Different even."

	"All right, um it is this way, I think? A105." Layla turned abruptly and the lid of her iced coffee was loose, it splashed all over her hands and his shirt. "OH! Oh my, I am so sorry. 	"I'm so sorry." Layla said, shaking out her hands that were all sticky with coffee. "Really? You are right next door to me, well that was...interesting and strange and helpful all at the same time." 	"I think I do have mittens," he said. "And you're welcome to use my bathroom." They reached his door and he opened it. He pulled off his shirt after he'd walked in the door.
