What: Rez is going for his first visit with his new shrink.

Rez had been down this road before. Sure, not here at Midian, but this was the fifth asylum he had been in, or maybe the sixth, so he was used to the drill. He'd arrived yesterday along with a few other new admissions, been ushered off to a room after they made sure he didn't have anything on him or in his luggage that he could hurt someone with, and then he was locked up for the night. Exciting! But today was perhaps the most exciting event of all. He got to meet his new shrink! Great. Just what he needed, another douche bag telling him that he was delusional and all the shit he knew to be true wasn't.

"What's this guy's name?" The man that was escorting Rez to his appointment didn't even speak. "Can you tell me if it's even a man?" That question went unanswered as well. All this did was piss him off, yanking his arm from the other man's grasp. "Get your motherfuckin' hands offa me. I can walk on my damn own." He then stalked off in front of the man who grabbed him just to pull him back and steer him down the correct corridor. Fucking douche.

The orderly knocked on the door before he pushed it open and then practically shoved the smaller man inside. Casting a scowl in his direction, he didn't even look to see who the dude was, too busy trying to kill that orderly fuck with looks alone. "Quinn, this is your new guy." The man stepped inside in front of him, crossing to the desk to place the folder down upon the wood in front of the other man. It was then that Rez saw him, and after a second of stunned silence, during which time the orderly shoved him down into a chair and left, Rez busted out laughing.

Who: Cissy and Ric
When: Tuesday Afternoon
Where: The Recreation Room followed by the Gardens.
What: The patients are allowed a little playtime.

Rec Room time was most definitely Cissy's favorite time of the day. She loved to socialize. She was a social butterfly, after all. And people were lucky to have her around. She also loved the chance to get out of her room which was stuffy and gross sometimes. Bu the thing she loved most of all was the fact that she got to be around the boys. She loved boys, though not quite as much as she loved men.

Cissy had spent the last hour making herself look pretty before heading into the rec room, and she was happy with the end result, even if they didn't let her have all of her makeup. She had decided to dress in her cute little pink dress with her hair down in soft curls and her feet bare. And she had taken some stickers with her, little pink heart stickers, which she was now skipping around the room happily sticking wherever she could find a place for one; computer monitors, windows, the backs of chairs. And if she knew the person, and she liked them, she would sometimes stick one on someone's forehead. Though sometimes she did this only so she could meet someone, which was exactly what she'd decided to do now.

Scanning the room for a potential victim... scratch that, a friend, a potential new friend, Cissy chewed on her lower lip and twirled a strand of hair between her fingers. Her blue eyes lit up when at last she spotted someone, a grin forming upon her lips, and with sneaky steps, she began to close the distance, trying not to giggle once she got close.

Who: James and Will
When: Dinner Time
Where: The Dining Room
What: James has anger management issues.

Six months. That was how long James McCafferty had been here, how long he had been eating this bland ass food, how long he had been listening to these idiots blathering on, how long he had been dealing with communal showers and horrible linens and sleepless nights. Six months. Six months too fucking long. And as he sat at the table in the dining room, his scowl only seemed to grow more and more with each passing second, each bite of food he pushed aside, each person that passed him on their way to their table.

"Fuck!" He finally growled, shoving the tray away from him and causing it to slam into the tray of the person sitting across from him. They glared at him but all he had to do was give them that look and they were getting up and scurrying off to find somewhere else to sit. That was right. Six months and he already had it like that. All the people that were tenured here had more than enough sense to keep away from him. He was volatile at his very best, and a danger to himself and everyone around him at his worst.

"I can't believe they get by with calling this shit fucking food!" He was pissed, but he would probably end up eating it. He didn't want to go hungry, after all. But for now, he was just going to sit there with his arms crossed over his chest, staring off at nothing, his jaw set with a scowl as the clatter of the diners around him raged on.

Who: Riley Quinn and Jane Hyatt
When: Monday Afternoon
What: Riley is going to see Jane after five years.
Where: Jane's quarters

After talking to Rez he knew he had to speak to Jane, he had no idea she was going to be working here as well. Riley wasn't sure what the hell he was doing, it had been a long time since he had seen Jane and the last time he did it had not been good. They had been friends once, so close, even dated in high school but now after what happened at Dax who knew where they stood. But Riley decided that he needed to speak to her, they were going to be working together and not really able to get away from each other since they couldn't leave the island until the weekends.

He checked himself in the mirror before he left his office and then rolled his eyes at himself, what the hell it wasn't like he cared but part of him did because that was Riley. He made his way down the halls of the asylum and glanced around, the patients weren't the same but the feeling was. These people were hurting, even if they didn't know it and they needed help and he was determined this time around to get it right. Despite their problems in the past Jane was a good nurse and now Riley felt he was a good doctor.

The walk didn't take as long as he thought and he took a deep breath, letting it out slowly, snapping the elastic band on his wrist a few times before knocking on her door and hoping she was actually there and he didn't have to go searching for her.
