What if our beloved superheroes, supervillains, and everyone in between woke up in a world that was abandoned? What if they didn't remember anything from their past life and all they knew was what was before them? What if their basic need to survive in a new harsh decaying landscape was challenged by an unseen and omniscient watcher? Could heroes still be heroes? Would villains still be villains? Would sworn enemies unite in friendship? Would lovers still find each other or would new unprecedented affection blossom into something unexpected?
New Marvel AU action based game opened JULY 25th, 2015.
The crash landed refugees are fighting for survival. Water has been discovered far out in the wasteland and the group has started to organize task forces for different tasks, but how long can they keep the peace? Meanwhile, new pods are arriving daily, delivering disoriented and memory-less people into Dystopia to find their footing.

The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning is a prestigious private school that gains students following personal visits from the Headmaster or the staff. Its doors opened in 1979 and has since then been a beacon of educational inspiration for those students who are shown to be exceptionally…gifted.
After a tragic accident that took the lives of both Charles Xavier and Jean Grey, Scott Summers and Erik Lehnsherr take over as Headmaster and run the school in his stead. The will asked for just that one thing: that the school continue to run and protect those who needed it and to help those that could not help themselves.
Erik has run the school as the Headmaster ever since, assisting in the creation of the X-Men teams (so named in deference to their fallen leader) who protect mutants from those who would seek to harm them as well as protecting those who cannot protect themselves from threats both mutant and non-mutant. Though not all is as it seems.
Erik has a plan of his own and only those closest to him know of it and this school, and its students - some of whom are from broken homes and ripe for manipulating and twisting - are all just pawns on the grand chess board of Erik's end game.
The Institute game is a non-movie compliant, open world X-Men game in an AU setting where you have a number of factions that your character can join or move between. They can be an independent free spirit that works within the scope of the school just doing their own thing, an adult X-Man who tries to save the world and help out in their own little way or an adult who just wants to teach and help those kids. They could be a member of the Hellfire Club under the unscrupulous Sebastian Shaw, a student just trying to get by or a member of Magneto's hand-picked, subversive team. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants doesn't exist - overtly - in this game. Yet

The Silver Age is Over!
Time waits for no man, not even heroes. Many of the first generation of mutants have grown up, settled down, and had their own families. Others have disappeared into the mists of time. Some have passed on. Despite the changes, some things have stayed the same. The world still needs saving from itself. There are still those who are angry at the status quo. The world still seems to wonder if it can truly trust its mutant citizens. | XKin is a second generation Marvel Universe game that takes an alternate history approach to canon after the year 2005. Decimation? Didn’t happen. Civil War? Not even close. In this divergent world, Jean Grey is dead. Magneto was never revived by his daughter and the Scarlet Witch outright disappeared. So what did happen? You tell us. By 2030, the children of the original heroes and villains have grown up. Will they follow their parents? Or rebel?

The fire of the Civil Rights Movement is beginning to blaze with men and women standing up against oppression at home even as a new fight looms ahead in Southeast Asia.

X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. Be it classic superhero adventures, high school drama, dark and gritty spy games or interpersonal relationships, X-Project caters to everyone.
X-Project is currently focusing our advertising towards filling some of our unplayed characters and available NPCs. We will still look at applications for new characters, but our preference is for applications for socks. To help give you an idea of each character's history, we have a series of "cards" for each available character/NPC.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG Sean Cassidy was an Interpol agent for many years, who believed his wife and infant daughter had been killed in an IRA bombing in 1988. Ten years later, he was stunned to find Theresa had survived, raised by his cousin, rival and unashamed criminal, "Black" Tom Cassidy. Unable to cope with a daughter raised to hate him, their mutual sonic powers threatening to destroy the ancient family home of Cassidy Keep when they fought, Sean sent her to Xavier's. Five years later he took early retirement from Interpol and took a teaching position at the school, determined to try and reconcile with his daughter. Some inroads were made, but Sean was frequently called back to Ireland by the demands of former cases and his position of Lord of the Keep. When Interpol came calling again, offering Sean a consultant position, he took it - his parting gift to his daughter and her new husband, Bobby Drake, was the custodianship of Cassidy Keep, and a promise to return whenever she needed him.
